Counting from negative would be a nice solution to 32 bit machines. Though, you would have to program them in order to think negative dates are, in fact, greater than 2047

Well a discharge of electrons that forms part of the suns natural cycle will be happening in 2011, theres a chance that could hit earth and fry every electronic appliance, lets all panic about that instead

It happened in 18 something and fried a load of telegraph lines in west america, took 3 years to fix, now imagine if it happened in the electo age we live in >:O

Dont get your doomsday hopes up

Theres a lot of empty space around Earth that that electron ball could fly off into, then we are safe for another 11 years

So all the shelters DM was talking about were actually built to hide all our toasters, microwave ovens, fridges and computers! Ipods can get all fried, nobody will cry (except Steve).
