I think that raising level cap is a good refreshment for game. Warmasters is a nice idea, I think I am already fell in love with Warmaster steed...
ah... yeah... I don't care about XP, about dropped (boxed) items. Would be nice to change them for something new and more interesting. But... As I said earlier I really wonder what will with magnanite weapons?

I also wonder how Magna weaps will fit into Warmasters since mags are the main trading currency atm. I just like the look so Id be happy to fuse it with something at lvl 60 unless NGD has no other plans for them, then again after I saw the new knight weaps on amun its hard to pick what looks better

New products generally improve old ones, your reasons to buy the product are subjective and don't make the comparison flawed, I could have bought one phone years ago because it was the best thing and now is a turd, that's life. In any case the comparison is OK, also why so much frustation for a "small amount more damage"?, those whinings only demostrates that equipment does a lot of difference, a big fail for NGD and their promises. |

At level 50 it will. At 60 it might not do it (= anything you get at 60 will probably be much better). There is no real difference of making gear useless for the core part of the game (maxlvl pvp) or taking it away completely.
Not that i cared much personally, im excited to see the new stuff. However the ignorance towards people who arent quite happy seeing their hard worked items (be it boxes or whatever grinding) might be soon obsolete is astounding. How can people and devs not understand them? This "haha those gear whores will finally get stuff removed" attitude around isnt quite appropriate imo. Try imagine first how itd be if NGD wouldve done this same thing without raising the level cap and adding an Xpac (Read: if they just wouldve added easily obtainable gear better then evrything ingame already). You should quite easily spot why many players would be unhappy. |

40lvl is not enough too... So I guess you need 50...
Why not start at 30?

+100 Devs, i love the changes, the game was getting stagnant and boring.... ESPECIALLY the mob grinding to lvl.... People always complain about change but seriously it was time it!

its masked (poorly) jealousy. of course people are raging inside about it, but also feel slightly better that other peoples' gear is worthless too now.
The other side, is the ones who never bothered to GET good gear (these kind of people are usually seen laughing when someone falls and get hurt) so they are trying to mask their utter joy about it, not having to had work/spent money/earned their gear and being outclassed for awhile, to instantly with zero effort..being on even terms again..gear wise.

I understand players spent hard earned cash to get items. Virtual items.
What I don't understand is that these people do not understand that these things are VIRTUAL. You spent hard earned cash or allowance(your choice) to buy something that is simply lines of code. The reality is that you are buying ENTERTAINMENT, not real items. Entertainment is fun right? RO is not a job nor a career, except for NGD staff who earn a living from it. Is reality so warped that people cannot see this? Maybe it is. I read that in Korea (gamer junkies) a man and woman was arrested for neglecting their child which died of starvation. Guess what they were playing and obsessed with? A game raising a virtual child. People seriously need psychological help. Even in the real world, when I buy a cutlass, I sharpen it and it wears out and is finished. Should a virtual thing simply exist forever and have no half life? Get over yourselves. The question is this: Did you get value for money while you had it? If the answer is no then you made a bad purchase, simple as that. Next thing is ,what kind of value do you place on these virtual things. If you relate it to a tangible item then you got bigger problems than you realize. This game is all about intangibles and solely for entertainment purposes. This software is not a productivity suite and if it is a transplant for real life then really, losing gear is not really the biggest problem is it? Your mental health might be. Play the game, stop crying like 5yr olds and see that this game is entertainment and actually is nowhere as bad as some other games. The Devs here are sensitive and have a heart. If you are really objective you will know this to be true. They are not invisible like in some other games. View the game as it should be, as entertainment and any real money spent is solely for that purpose. Don't tell me you can't have fun without uber gear. I know for a fact that is simply not true. Stop whining like spoiled brats. One would think that everyone is starting Monday with level 5 gear the way some are behaving. We are ALL 50! the gear is as applicable as it was before. You will drop better equipment, you will have resale value for newer players coming through, the economy will not be flat, many have 52+ gear. What is the problem? Someone may actually come along and dethrone some of the item whores? Balance may actually be restored for a time? Hmm... Regards Artec |
