Game fails to launch after a 12mb update (possibly)

I was online for about 4-5 hours after this update. The game was a ghost town, there was only a few players in the whole server.

Something was/is badly wrong.

Has there been a changelog for the previous update?

Are any of you familiar with the character list available through the main site profile? i.e. not your forums profile

I checked mine a few minutes ago and at first I had my characters in the following order:

Miro
Bora
Renart

After checking Miro, the list reversed itself:

Renart
Bora
Miro

Is the list supposed to change to reflect what character was used most recently?
If so, well, seems like some cracker/s is/are having fun.

Otherwise, please refer to the title of my post

It's a matter of database how it replies. The output is not sorted, so the order is just random.

But if there is no sorting then the "default sorting", afaik, with all DB systems is to go ascending with primary key so it cannot really be random and order should remain the same, that's why it poked my curiosity.

You are wrong. The order of replied records is random (without sorting), ofc it (query) can be cached so you can get the same order n times.

Can you PM me with a concrete example of that or more info? I'm no DB architect, but I'm pretty sure I never saw random results and I never worked with cached DBs, unless MySQL is always cached on a basic setup.

I can't give you an example right now - but I have seen tables which weren't well optimized. When you tried to query them e.g. they didn't reply with the order of data you actually put into them (you put A B C D, DB replied A B D C etc if you didn't use SORT BY statement).

Just tried again, I'm able to log into the game now, no more errors. Hope it's all fine from here on.
