To clarify some things...
In the beginning, Onslaught was 25% speed boost, with 60 sec duration and 60 sec cooldown. As a barb was impossible to catch (or escape from), duration was later reduced to 45 secs, keeping the cooldown in 60. But, alternating Onslaught with Sprint (15 secs duration) in the 15 secs remaining to the 60 sec cooldown gave barbs the chance to be on speed boost all the time. And then, Onslaught was changed to as it is now, 30 sec duration, 60 sec cooldown, and 35% boost speed. So, the actual Onslaught is the first with 30 sec duration. Anyways, I think Onslaught as it is now is ok. Gives the chance to catch hunters or barbs. And also works as a group skill to advance on an enemy group.

If you use mobility he is 3.4% faster than you for 30 sec then you are 15% faster than him for 20 sec and 40% faster the last 10 sec using mobility again |

It's simple math. The hunter has a mere 5% closing rate with a mage now, unless he uses lvl 5 SOTW(450 mana) AND mobility(230mana). Even using that, with just a couple lag hiccups, forget about it. You're not catching the mage. Remember, this thread is about PURSUING ONLSLAUGHTED MAGES, nothing else. |

4.5% is barely any kind of overtake speed at all. THen when you factor in that the mage can use his sanc. when onslaughted without deactivating the onslaught, well, obviously catching the mage is impossible. 35% is too much, plain and simple. |

1. They were more than you and can do whatever they like, you not catching them is not imbalance as they were more than you 2. Seriously stupid group who didn't turn around to slaughter you since it were one versus many. Quit whining everytime you get pissed about something in game and flooding the forums with it, we don't need to watch it everytime you lose. And put threads about skills/balance in the development section too. |
