I havent seen anything about this on the news in England but my heart goes out to Poland, we had some flooding up north not to far back but that seems like a puddle compared to this.

Well, I wasn't forced, I did make my first comment as a joke to cheer things up but then you started with your "I DO hope you are joking" crap so I voiced my opinion (that you can take as harsh/insulting/whatever).

Oh and there's a lot of worse stuff going on in the world which can/will have global impact on everyone (for instance, oil in Gulf of Mexico), but I don't see you sympathizing with your American friends about that or posting news about that.

You don't care (or don't show that you care) for disaster of those proportions that will impact everyone but you want people to feel for local Polish incident (at least compared to that).

Selfish.

I am pretty sure anyone in this situation would just want support from their friends. Just because someone posts about something directly affecting their home and future doesn't mean they don't have compassion for other problems affecting our planet. This topic is about the Flooding in Poland. If you want to talk about support for other issues... Make a post about it. Don't be an Asshole and try to take away from the serious nature of this event that is affecting him directly

The Gulf of Mexico oil spill is terrible, it is destroying the area. But I almost guarantee that many more lives are being lost in Poland than in Mexico. Please, show some respect for a country in need.

He never said he didn't care about issues that will impact everyone. From what I've seen of his posts hes a nice guy. Just because he isn't showing he cares about other disasters, doesn't mean he doesn't care. It's hard to be caring about other events when your entire country is being devastated by waters that aren't receding. It would be hard to relax when you are constantly worrying if you or your friends or family could be in grave danger.

This is The Inn. NGD labelled this place as a place where the community can talk about anything. Piz posting about this was not forum spam, it was proper use of this sub forum.

The flooding in Poland is huge from what I understand. I expect it will take months if not years for the country to recover, especially considering Europe's financial state. Please, show some respect for a country in need.

So I have to make a post for every disaster in the world to make up for it? Afaik China, Kenya and Oman have same issues as Poland does, and I know it and I hope best for them, but right now whole my life, my house, my family is in danger of losing everything, and that's what I focus on right now. I appreciate every little cheer up from my friends, cause keeping up the spirit is what makes humans not indifferent to each other.

Specially when the floods aren't human's fault and we can't do anything to change it. And in addition, not many people knew about our situation. Death toll rises, thousands of households are destroyed and collapsing, hundreds of thousands lost everything they own and need saving the houses from rotting/breaking. If this keeps going, we'll have a "state of distater martial law", which means we'll be degraded from democracy to military forces telling us what to do, and if we don't agree to leave everything we have, we'll be forced with guns to be homeless. Fun?

EVERYBODY knows about the oil spill. But nobody's house is in direct danger, not to mention anyone from the forums. I am not expecting "awwws", but seems like you do for the oil thing.
So, awww, there there, I'm sure some Americans whose fault was that will make up for it and stop the oil from spilling.

so as i wanted to say: i heared there was a dambreach near warshaw, hope your ok, did it stop raining yet? my mom went there (as i said) but the dmg in krakow was not to bad, maybe that has changed all ready, hope you are ok, stupid we can't do more than aww your position.
