Im using Win XP for ro as on linux i have some troubles with key events. Might try to get that res requested on linux, maybe the same res is used for openGL and then copy it over to XP. Edit: Worked to download those 2 on linux sm4. Something is messd up with my XP or my RO version on XP. Since the download probably was error free it must be something with inserting the entry into the databases. Anyways, ill copy the linux sdbs over now and hope that bug only appears for big ressources. Thanks for your help evryone. Last edited by _Enio_; 11-06-2011 at 05:42 PM. |

I'll run some tests tomorrow with a set of supposedly broken SDBs I got. I'm pretty confident the problem lies there.
Will have to check the download code too *sigh*. I'll probably make it more verbose on Amun to investigate further.

That's an MD5 mismatch. Interesting.

Like ice_zero_cool had, I can't get past the character selection screen because I got certain resources that aren't being downloaded properly. I just realized that I had this problem for a while but I've ignored it since I don't usually play on this computer. This is the last screen I see before the game disconnects me. And no, they're not being downloaded repeatedly, they're just stuck at those %'s. Under windows XP, shader model 2.0(Though it supports 4.0) EDIT: after running the game 3 times under fixed pipeline, I could finally get past that screen, each time it seemed to download more and more missing(?) resources. I switched back to shader model 2.0 and now it works.

EDIT: Scratch that it seems to take years for sqlite database to load like talking like over 5 minutes just to get to the character screen I think I will revert back to sdb. EDIT 2: Nevermind I restarted the game a third time now it loads fast \o/ EDIT 3: After trying to get the sqlite working I gave up it seems to take forever to load randomly and when I tried to switch back to sdb the whole game broke so I'd avoid this unless you back up your whole regnum directory first...

I was having similar problems on Amun before 1.9.0 was released and then again today. I fixed it by turning off my http proxy.
