Aye, the giant 1H weapons are awesome, I wish all weapons were this way. (Make barb weapons bigger too.)

Just as a note, you can still read it via [Alt] + [I].
Considering NGD might add hoverable icons on the minimap at some point thatd just conflict with the old coordinate display. Maybe as an option to have it displayed beyond or something coul work.


[Shift] + [1-0] works now for the 2ndary bar, very nice! Now im just waiting for 2 more (hideable) bars for Ctrl and Alt. =)


What i really miss is an undockable combatlog, which you can pin to any spot and size. Is that possible with the new UI?

Is this a BUG?:
Sometimes i cant remove spells out of the 2nd bar. Then when i add a new one i suddenly can remove the others too for some amount of time. Is there some Auto-lock feature running?

LOL, for more than 3/4 I play this game, I was always wondering why I see 'iSyrtis captured the building blabla!', always thought it's small 'I' and that it is there because the game is sponsored by Apple or something (yes, I really thought that), and now after reading this, I finaly know it's inverted '!'. Oo, always get to know something new

At least, one good news

Please don't forget usability/readability/simplicity/*ty especially for core players. I can understand UI need a refresh visually to be on-par with other games, but the thing that is most needed is ways to configure UI/shortcuts/dialogs/etc... since each player has his own preferences.

It is VERY important with such game, because we play for YEARS to it.

Severe combat bug:

If you use the mouse to click anything on the spellbars, your movement controls get stuck, especially as warrior.

It affects both spell bars, left and right click. Effectively what happens is, when you click a button on the bar, your character gets stuck moving in a certain direction, and it becomes very difficult to change their course. As warriors are designed to hit while moving, they, as Kyro put it, "handle like a school bus".

By the way, the text on snowy backgrounds is extremely hard to read (click link for high-resolution image).

All Knights in the game also seem to be missing 100 HP. Other classes are unaffected.

Any spellbar.

It will also prevent movement if you have the mouse button pressed on any spell in the spell bar.

I like this update. Love 2 spellbarbs, I was kinda clumsy on switching them using F1-F4, I used shortcuts only for first 5 spells anyway so I don't mind no shortcuts for 11-12 and second spellbar, click will do for me.

Now we have our battle log back on amun readable together with chat. Not yet resizable, but I hope that's yet to come. Also if there could be a handle to move it somewhere else. I don't need this functionality, but I heard from many who would appreciate it.

Bracelets for mages ... as Dutch mentioned, they add too much armor. Now I do 10 normals even on mages with my lvl52 hunter. I hope something is gonna be done with this. Moreover ... barbs got second weapon, with one more socket to use and possible bonuses, knights got special shields again, mages got bracelets with armor, more possible bonuses and socket for resist gem, ... and you forgot about archers. Unlimited arrows are cool with new update, but other classes can now have more bonuses, what about archers? Will it be possible to drop magical arrows or something like that? Socket in arrows, I would love that as a hunter. 25 normal would be better than 10
