Never come across this guy...so i looked him up...i like Thankyou
Edit : Found this one.. heres a taster.. If You Forget Me by Pablo Neruda But if each day, each hour, you feel that you are destined for me with implacable sweetness, if each day a flower climbs up to your lips to seek me, ah my love, ah my own, in me all that fire is repeated, in me nothing is extinguished or forgotten, my love feeds on your love, beloved, and as long as you live it will be in your arms without leaving mine. |

here is one I found when I was searching for a translation of the Rubiyat
the Title is "Searching for Your Face" by Mewlana Jalaluddin Rumi From the beginning of my life I have been looking for your face but today I have seen it Today I have seen the charm, the beauty, the unfathomable grace of the face that I was looking for Today I have found you and those who laughed and scorned me yesterday are sorry that they were not looking as I did I am bewildered by the magnificence of your beauty and wish to see you with a hundred eyes My heart has burned with passion and has searched forever for this wondrous beauty that I now behold I am ashamed to call this love human and afraid of G-d to call it divine Your fragrant breath like the morning breeze has come to the stillness of the garden You have breathed new life into me I have become your sunshine and also your shadow My soul is screaming in ecstacy Every fiber of my being is in love with you Your efflugence has lit a fire in my heart for me the earth and sky My arrow of love has arrived at the target I am in the house of mercy and my heart is a place of prayer

Alternate presidential inauguration poem
We have a new president. A new ruler to be sure.
He's very well liked, and very..... popular. No one's quite sure, exactly, from whence he came, But the first thing we all learned to pronounce was his name. Of which he has two... that we know of so far. One he was born with, one for practicing law. How many names may a president take Before we start to question if he is real or fake? Obama. Hussein. His first name's Ba-rack. His mother is white, but they call him buh-lack. He's african american... well, african anyway If he's not native born, then what's he today? It's fresh in our minds; the inauguration But we know it was really a coronation All hail the king! God is so great! Or, "allah akhbar" if you want to relate. Upon the stage, looking old and past prime, Was a string of has-beens, all singing in rhyme... "Every knee shall bend and tongue confess that Obama really is the best!" OOPS! Was that a scripture quote I heard? From this gaggle of hateful and unclean birds? Another "hint" that they think he's the Messiah So they continue to heap the praises up high-yuh! Oh, you groan at my interesting use of ebo-nics? Blame Obama, the cream of the democrat-ics. And remember, it's NOT at all about race; Unless he wins... then its.... all about race. Heaven help those who voted McCain Upon them Obama's judgement shall rain. Or is it "reign"? Or "rule"? Whatever the term For oppressing the people, it's gonna be firm. Higher taxes! Unemployment! Abortions for all! Bigger government and automated telephone calls! Socialism will work, soon we'll all see Unless, that is, you enjoy being Free. It will be interesting to see just how long he sits On his throne, before he looks down upon us and spits. Drinking wine made from blood of martyrs and saints While the writing on the wall the Almighty paints! Let us remember, let us never forget That YESHUA IS MESSIAH, and HE paid our debt! And in the face of tyranny and evil, wicked men... Let us shout "COME QUICKLY, LORD JESUS! COME QUICKLY... AMEN!" |

I decided to make a repost.
Hole in your head. Blood on the bed. Why did you do it? Now you are dead. |

I hear the oriole's always-grieving voice..
I hear the oriole's always-grieving voice,
And the rich summer's welcome loss I hear In the sickle's serpentine hiss Cutting the corn's ear tightly pressed to ear. And the short skirts of the slim reapers Fly in the wind like holiday pennants, The clash of joyful cymbals, and creeping From under dusty lashes, the long glance. I don't expect love's tender flatteries, In premonition of some dark event, But come, come and see this paradise Where together we were blessed and innocent. 1917 Summer ~Anna Akhmatova |
