Could we please get friendly fire during this event?

I hate being infected over and over again by some players who think it is fun to infect as many players as they could to get the gate broken.

This event is showing the difference between egomaniacs and teamplayers.

Sadly to much egos in my realm.

This a good event, co-operation is just as important as the forts now, we don't co-operate our gate goes. Looks like the event is being tweaked as it goes on, if it was toned down a bit (maybe takes 1 sec to catch from another player) it could be good as a permanent feature.

Could do with a not-friends list too though and some indication above players if they on either list, a lot of folks deliberately infecting other players.

Interesting concept. It sure needs much tweaking, but the idea is indeed nice. I'd love to see an improved version of this event one day!

In the initial stages I must admit I was a bit worried about this event. I am usually biased against many NGD events so I decided to not be too negative.

When the infection boosted HP I found it very odd. It was then fixed and HP was cut due to infection. Yet again I thought that NGD had a nice idea and just failed to take it to a win.
Luckily, I think they did actually make this a great event. Rumour has it that happenings in Raven caused the adjustments but they ended up to be pretty good.
No malus for infections and your gate goes when the rate hits 35% or 40% (not sure). We can fight, people are going after gems, hunting, defending and even occasional fort action. End to end stuff. Very exciting , a nice pace (not too fast or slow) and good action that does not need a zerg (although it helps). There is no malus or punishment of Negative HP so everyone is happy.
In the end lots of people chatted and interacted with inner realm and a general good time was had by most. There are still some no so happy folks but for me, it turned out pretty nice (after 3 revisions). At least in Ignis it was so.

I will chalk this event up on the win side for NGD. That Halloween event is still #1 in my mind though.

As far as I know I think the Imperialist Zombies may be an accident that came from a Raven only event.

The irony is that, this may be the most relaxing and enjoyable type of invasion system that NGD has come up with so far.

This is rediculous, Frosk said this was to create cooperation? No all this is doing is making me HATE my fellow igneans. People running around purposely infecting others should be banned. Purple Fever = FAIL. Please remove this stupid event as soon as possible, at least you all removed the HP loss, which makes it tolerable, but people like Daar are treasonous, and I don't want them in my realm, please address this issue.

Stay. Away. From me. It's not my fault there are people who prefer no action all day. This event is starting to show its potential(read bois' post) and you're just trying to prevent it.

For me personally, I was never a fan of any kind of event.
I know NGD has the best intentions for us, trying to bring something new into "the daily routine".. that's however is not why I log on to this game, every day.

I like the "ordinary" wars and fights we have! Only complaint about it (as a Horus player) is that we have too little of it.
Some realm takes our fort, u make 2-3 runs at it.. but can't seem to gather more then half the strenght of the opposing realm..

But this post isn't about that..
I'd just like to thank NGD for giving us the +xpbonus/droprate!
Like I said, I'm not a fan of most kind of events.. so I'll be grinding throu it (wich I dont mind at all) So I might as well take this opportunity to get some xp on the chars I have left to make lvl 60
