Hey all, just to avoid further speculation about the expansion.
here is what I can say without spoiling the surprise: we won't raise the level cap. It will be based on the instancing feature. BR, -Chilko |

I think many of us are glad about you not raising the level cap XD Can't wait to see the instancing feature too

Thumbs up for instances too, will be great to have more to do in RO. Bit worried about the changes to powers, the /reset_powers function will still be available? Thanks. |

Its basically a feature allowing groups of players/npc to be on the same map but not interact with/see eachother.
That way i.e. 10 groups of players could simultaneously enter a dungeon and each group would be placed in a dungeon ("instance") of its own. |

Thank you Frosk for this Roadmap. I´m very surprised to hear about so much changes in 2012.

One positive a lot have not mentioned is that this stuff for the most part, enhances free to play components of the game.
After a round of items for profit, it is quite refreshing to see an aim to deliver content and beef up core areas that need some tlc. Most importantly, supply content that all can enjoy once they put in the time and effort. Of course some premium stuff will have to come along to pay for all this programming but , all in all, a positive outlook. ( I can easily see profits coming from premium instance events.) |

Dungeons sounds very nice, but i remember that a RO staff member said to us that dungeons can't fit in the game, as for coding and engine based stuff...but anyhow...sounds all great to me |
