Has anyone worked out how to make the changes I make to game.cfg, for example "vg_fov" permanent? Or perhaps NGD know (or perhaps not).

- Everything is dull/washed out, colours are depressing to look at.
- Looks like game is not obeying settings in game.cfg (disabled weather fx, weather fx are still enabled ingame) - New wm quests are bugged, kill anyone will count for both syrtis and ignis quests. - Everyone seems to be running slower. "Cuando más grande es el FOV, lográs un mayor angulo de visión, generando que puedas ver cosas que otros, en idénticas condiciones, no pueden ver. Esa opción NUNCA estuvo disponible como variable del juego, de modo que en la práctica, no hemos quitado nada de las opciones. El hecho de que pudieras modificar un archivo de configuración y obtener así una mínima ventaja es un error, que fué subsanado." Google translate: "The larger the FOV, you get a larger viewing angle, causing you to see things that others, under identical conditions, can not see. That option was never available as a variable of the game, so that in practice we have not removed any of the options. The fact that you could modify a configuration file and get a slight advantage is a mistake that was corrected." I would think making this option available for everyone would be a better solution... well well... The Realm Tasks are not what I thought... they just ask me to deliver letters and kill mobs for a meager amount of XP.

Having large fov does enable you to see a larger picture in war but it doesn't give one player an advantage over another becuase this option is open to everyone. you can choose a value based on your class and preference. I don't see the reason in making fov 45 a permanent value which i find absolutely ridiculous. playing under fov 45 will make distance judgement for casting mindpush difficult. I'm sure archers find that quite annoying too. Please make that fov option avaliable to everyone again ! |

Every single update for the past 2 years is making me rage... DO you even listen to the feedbacks from your paid customers NGD? DO you ever wonder why the population base isn't getting any larger after 7 years? |

Can't change texture quality even though play on high graphics. Do you have to play on ultra or something to have the ability to have good texture quality?

I'd like to report that I do not have access to the 'Ambient Occlusion' setting on a Shader Model 5.0 card. It's greyed out and unselectable.
I have heard that a 'Very high' render setitng is available too, which is also missing. Debian Linux AMD64 AMD Phenom II 1100T CPU 8GB of DDR3 RAM GeForce GTX480 1.5GB (DirectX 11, SM5) NVIDIA 302 proprietary driver I would also like to report that something is wrong with movement speed. my character seems to be running very slowly even with Horn of the wind, Onslaught or mount. It almost feels as if NGD has reverted the change that added 20% movement speed to everyone, or some speed boosts aren't working. Another bug: Under KDE with compositing (desktop effects) enabled, running Regnum makes all menu textures, etc. black. Other games do not exhibit this behavior. The login screen is also black during these times. Changing my graphics to the highest settings each time I log in seems to fix it. |
