Speed cheat - Page 9

Well after seeing someone using it i have made a try :

Magic Barrier is the spell that now gives a speed bug. (its a conjurer spell that affect another person but i think the bug effect is only on the caster). I guess we will now see many conjurers using it (while it was one not very much used).

Wakim42 - Good job on reproducing the issue for NGD. Make sure you forward the information to them directly so it doesn't get lost in this thread or start a new thread in the development section.

Tested it and it does not. A hunter with a 15% passive still outruns me. There is no bug for either the caster or the receipient of the spell. We even timed runs between 2 points and logging off and redoing the runs to compare.

Yep. Magic Barrier is definately not the bugged spell.

I agree i couldnt reproduce it anymore but i'm really almost certain the speed bug involves magic barrier.

well it probalbly isnt even a bug at all. i beleive her that she has no clue what happened.
i think, and i could be wrong, that ngd was working on something that at the time some how effected her speed . it was probalbly just a one time thing
