So you are totally sure about it? For what Jpicon said it happens without rezzing fast too.

i dont know.
Maybe it has something to do with server lag.
i mean, if server lasts (ie) 1 second giving Rps from your death, you can rez fast (within that second) and no rps are given (i asume server checks if "isplayerdead" before givien them)

So, the longer is the lag, the easier is to don't give rp.
I wonder if this problem occurs if you dont rez at all. is this what jpicon said?

i answered on that post right now, and im afraid that problem is about changing character (and then cancl, of course) but i didnt probe it. I just heard the rumour.

BTW: in login on Ra now, someone wants to kill me? i promise to try to not give any rp, exploiting that.

The problem can be boiled down to this sentence:

You dont give rp when you ressurect faster than the server can display(or calculate) the rp to the ones who killed you

It seems pretty obvious to me that it acts that way.

That's a nice sentence, but we don't really know for sure that this is the cause of not getting RP. We also don't know for sure that we aren't getting RP at these times, because it could be a bug in the log. Maybe you're getting the RP credit in the database, but not displayed in your log.

Something weird I have noticed the few times I've died lately (I'm really liking that

) is that it tells me I've defeated myself - I'm a decent hunter but didn't think that good...

Well I'm throwing my names out there. Tonight at Herb these two people didn't give RPs multiple times (at least not in the log):
manur - twice, both times the corpse disappeared very quickly
limadito coperfield - three time, again corpse disappeared really fast

Seems like it is character related some seem to have this happen much more often than others. It would be nice if NGD at least acknowledged this issue. Is it in the Spanish forums too? Any word from NGD there?
