BTW i play my conj more now. And for me confuse is not a problem.. as long as i can escape which i do

and as long i have conj with DI (atm at lvl 25 i have it on 3).
Same effect as confuse (useless conj) you can achieve using darkness.

A few comments wrt Octopus' post:

Rep shot is WAY less useful than before, when you could cast it under the protection of SOTW. I had been wondering why so few players use it now, and i think that's the reason why. Pretty hard to survive a 3 second point blank range cast time and not get knocked/silenced/killed while you're casting.

As far as SOTW being a 'god mode', i die every day that i play under the 'protection' of SOTW, at least once.

Hunters were WAY stronger when i started playing regnum, the class is now a mere shadow of it's former self.

To name just a few of the nerfings:

No ranged pets-
No offensive attacks under SOTW-
Rep Shot now very hard to employ-
New Camo far less useful-
Up to 80% or more of arrow attacks blocked in fort fights, or even in some 1 vs 1s-
Arrows far less effective vs barbarians-
Mindsquasher can now totally debuff your character-
Barbs now significantly faster making it MUCH harder to escape-

I see your point, but regnum was meant to be rvr and not pvp. fort wars doesn't nescesarily have to be required for rvr, it could be bridgefights or big fights at random places.

I found a very nice, free MMORPG last week that seems pretty good, called Perfect World. The graphics, models, quests, animations and such are quite impressive. You can fly and swim, even fighting monsters underwater or in the air. There was no lag at all.

This is a Windows game, but works pretty well in Linux with WINE.

hm warjurers doesn't need another person to counter confuse and there's not always two conjurers around
