When you have so many players being all on the same setup is boring, also if there are more diverse setups then the group becomes more dynamic as it can adapt to several situations, you suffer one on one though most of the time.

Sadly, I find that during day times numbers in most cases has replaced tactics or strategy. Larger numbers works best in Alsius doesn't work as well in Iggyland.

Howdy there,
I think that saying "Syrtis is overpopulating all realms especially Alsius" is easy, I think it's more a timezone matter. Yes, in the afternoon (GMT time), Syrtis overpop Alsius and is usually holding trelle for hours against very few Alsius (mostly low-lvl), chasing them till the realm gate and really it's boring even for us (now even thinking at "trelle" makes me dizzy ), and I hope we will stop it... but since few days, I noticed that Alsius can bring huge zergs and hold forts for hours (it was rarely the case some times ago) ; like today evening we had a nice bridge war with Alsius at pp and they had a bigger zerg than ours (they were 20 at least), and we were zerged many times by them ; later they farmed us for a long time at herb ; Yesterday in the night, they held Meni for a long time too, etc... So I don't think that Alsius really lacks of numbers (now).. maybe Syrtis is overpopulated, but not enough to make a real disbalance who can justify closing the inscriptions in Syrtis realm (and don't forget there's plenty of low-lvl in our side too). I think more it's a timezone matter, where each realm is more active during some hours than the others... ... like Ignis farming us for hours at herb late in the night (and usually trying to invade us)... Really you should really try to plan and organize an invasion, and see your full potential. My two cents, Best regards. (sorry for the crappy english)

Actually, one day i had decided to go to sleep around 1:00am and came back on at about 8 or 9 am and Syrtis had invaded, stolen our gems, invaded Alsius, stolen their gems, and given us a realm xp debuff. all within 7-8 hours. And while that is not completely Ludicris (it was probably planned), it may become a problem in the future. |

At times like that, the real fun is at the bridges, picking off the stragglers trying to join their mates at Trelle. You'd be amazed at how many times the same low level player can try to cross the same bridge on horse in a row. Sometimes I think they really are bots. The bridges has far higher strategic value than those forts thrown out at inane random locations in the terrain, controlling absolutely nothing. Once the word gets around amongst them, that the bridges are sealed off, they are faced with the choice of 1. staying in Trelle til they rot, 2. try to take control of the bridges (and thus leave a strong position in favour of a weaker) 3. Call it a day. (Going to imp via the tele is usually not an option as they usually are too weak for it. And then it would be an even longer walk for reinforcements.)
