I would stay away, but since you intentionaly parked your infected rear at the gate, I had no choice, when asked to move by serveral Igneans you refused.... so give me another option. You know the event may have its merits, but purposely infecting your fellow realm mates is not one of them. I never said I am opposed to action, but I am opposed to you bringing down our realm instead of Alsius or Syrtius. What are you some kind of multirealming spy logging in only to bring us down? Wouldn't surprise me. I really don't care if you hate me forever after this, but know this, it was your refusal to quarantine yourself for the good of the realm that brought this upon yourself, so you can consider me to be a hate-monger or whatever you wish, but heres a good saying "Don't start nothing, won't be nothing"

I actually ran around for a while trying to disinfect him and certain other vectors with medicine. That yielded mixed results. The medicine lasts only so long, but it did keep the infection in check somewhat. Fortunately, we do have others that make the effort to keep the infection rate in check.
Invariably, the balance tips when we go and get infected by enemies either by fort taking or going after their gems or even war in general. But I can certainly understand why you may get disturbed by this action. Hidra was so kind as to remind me that it is just a game. I try to keep that perspective. Luckily there is an XP / drop rate bonus on so that those who don't want purple fever action (irritation) can maybe take advantage of this. Of course war goes on sort of so that anybody can tag along at any time if they so choose. I wager this event lasts a week. |

And looking at the screenshot you posted, I did not refuse your brute commands, I did move from my original place so I don't see why you're here claiming that I refuse to do what you want...

level 60 conju, nice to be infected, having 2.4K HP and be a onehit for barbarians. Nice event again.
Please just let go of events in the future, you dont have a clue about the game any changes make are just facepalming the rest On Server niflheim the gates are always open, because players always crash when the infection reaches 50%, unfortunatelly anybody has to handle with this negative event, you have no choice, so you have to wait a week to be able to play again..... At least No one takes care for the Bindrollback anymore. |

All in all i found it quite amusing. There were much bitching and stuff but those open gates (and boats) combined with overall quite similar numbers from what i saw lead to lots of funny gem attemps, Realms Generals kills and overall much wz traffic/action.
So from my perspective, the 3rd version, with all realms havin open gates once evry hour been lots of fun especially because the realm numbers seemd to be quite in balance while i playd. |

I'd prefer if the gate would at least stay up for 30 minutes so the realm could get some R&R between invasions. By the way people, please complain in complaint book, its there and you're free to unleash your rage in it. Some of us are kind of tired of seeing the official threads all filled up with this stuff. Its not too hard to talk about it civil here and save the drama for a complaint thread, even I do it now. Last edited by Kitsunie; 09-02-2011 at 06:21 AM. |
