I've been trying to install this on Ubuntu and/or Mint. When I install as a package, it closes right after I log in. When I use Wine, my screen goes blank with an error from the monitor maker saying to change my resolution (what it suggests, it already is).
Is there another way to do this that works?

Yes. It did install, but the game closes after world selection.

After logging in and before pressing play, do you have time to enter the options in the upper right corner?
if you have time try deselecting full screen the other option and in advanced options force safe mode |

Sorry for the delay.
I turned off full screen, and when I clicked Play, the game window vanished, and did not come back. No error message.

Now I have a new problem.
When I open Advanced Options to use safe mode, I click the box for Force Safe Mode, but there is no way to close the Advanced Options Window. There is no close button, no OK button, no cancel button. I cannot click on anything on the game window, because the Advanced Options window will not close. When I right clock on top of the Advanced Options window, Close is greyed out. Even uninstall isnt making it go away. I'm reinstalling and trying again. Is there no way to do this via CLI?
