How To: Fix Sound Issue in Ubuntu
This works on Ubuntu 6.06 Dapper Drake but should work with distros based on Ubuntu as well as later releases.
First install support for OpenenAL: Code:
sudo apt-get install libopenal0a libopenalpp-cvs1 libalut0 Code:
ln -s /usr/lib/libopenal.so.0 /usr/lib/libopenal.so |
