Game completely freezes on Mint

As the title says, I am running Linux Mint 14 MATE desktop. I downloaded Regnum with the Linux steam client. It downloaded, I chose to agree and play and such. Then where you choose the server and press play or next, it is like it is loading, then freezes, I can see all my desktop and such, just cant click anything.

Any help will be appreciated. If it helps im running an AMD 5500 series GFX card.

Please help lol I need a good MMO to play in between Dota 2 games

Hey, I had this a few days ago, it's a strange one. It appears the game is running, just for some reason the window was invisible! What helped me make it visible again was to toggle full screen, press "Alt + Enter" twice when it happens, see if it helps.

Hey I tried that and still it didnt work. Isnt alt+enter a windows command?

Are you running on Linux mint Mate?

Edit:

Went to try again and noticed there was an options menu in the client. I changed my resolution to my "actual: resolution of my PC and it worked. Thanks anyway for the help dude all the best

No worries, glad you got it solved . And nope, I use xfce, Alt + Enter switches the game from full screen to windowed mode (and vice versa).

op was confusing it with Alt+Tab
