Default 100% CPu Usage Since Recent Update

Since the recent update, the linux client is now using 100% CPU usage, making my normal 40-50 FPS drop to 10-15fps, even on lowest settings. I only just noticed it today, so I'm sure it's the update that did this. Normally regnum would only use 70% of my CPU, dual core 3.0Ghz, regnum should not be using 100%

Yes, that gave me back my normal CPU Usage and FPS, but, I've always ahd sounds enabled and it just now started using 100% CPU with this new update, was something changed, and will this be fixed so I can have my sounds back? I like being able to hear if I hit something.
