Shortcuts not being saved

Hi

Firstly I'll define shortcuts - at the bottom of the screen in the centre. When I first started the game I put one of the actions, Reverence or something in the shortcut bar and that has been there since, but shortcuts to spells don't seem to persist.
Because of this, keeping the power book open just clutters the screen so it would be greatly appreciated if this could be fixed.

If you quit the game correctly the quickbar will be saved, but if the game crash will not.
