Default Black and white stripes on screen

Hi

I would like to try this game out, but I am having problems with graphics.
I get white and black stripes covering the screen.
I am using the Linux client.
Do any of you know what could be causing this?

Default solved graphics, no I just need sound

I found the solution:

I was using the newest nvidia driver for my geforce 6200 card.
I tried downgrading to version 100.14.19 and it worked. I did'nt have a problem with the newer driver when playing other 3d games but now it works.

But I have no sound. I am not really sure how to identify what the problem is.
Any ideas?

Do you have openal installed? If not, do so.
And make a ~/.openalrc with this content:
Code:
(define devices '(native))
This should get your sound working
