Knights with maxed slashing.

Why? Just why?

I really cannot comprehend why a knight would want to max slashing for SC 5.

Can anyone shed any light on why sooo many knights these days max slashing?

Maybe they all have a magical Warlord Axe (level 50) donated to them by their barbarian right hand man who got it in an unlucky box?

Theres a lot of reasons, due to the positional lag, disable limb is a better skill to stop players atm, now that most barbs went hammer, whats the point of using them, they'll just cast MS now.

Now that the Slashing tree got spear's area, right now slashing tree is a must need for knights. Now that it does more dmg then any other tree, due to the nerf on ribs breaker, and balestra.

Another reason i might point out, not a lot of people have slashing resistence

. From what i've seen.

basically when ngd fucks over other trees, and with the movement bugged so bad, often that sc 5 is our ONLY hit..so may as well do some dmg.

and i prefer med weapons with sc, so you can kick, charge and sc all before they get up and warp 500 feet away.

What is it with knight's and damage?

If people want an offensive warrior, play a barb.

Also, if it is only "one hit" you get, why not make it something usefull? Like MS, or Disabling or the like?

So they can do 800 dmg SC at my hunter and get pwned by retaliation

i like when a hunter ratals my weak ass kick anyways.

as for the whole offensive thing matt, if i wanted to play a class that dies alot more quickly than a knight id play a barb.

anyways i dont see the whole point of why im forced to play my class just like everyone else, ill play it how i want, and if that means auraless, and a mix of offense and defense, with a few dizzies and some debuffs, i will do so.

people complain i dont have shields maxxed too..whatever

On a serious note, I'm not entirely happy by knights doing 700 damage with SC(5) at me and knocking groups of people down at the gate. But hey, it's mostly also the kind who only charges with AoO , and with MS they're not too hard to kill

Tho a smart hunter dont waste mana on retal when a slow knights comes
running after him. The smart hunter keeps just out off range all the time
throwing wooden sticks at him untill the knight dies and you hear the knight
scream "GOD DAMN I HATE HUNTERS AND THEIR CRAPPY SPEED"

Tho back on topic. i cant see the point either for a knight to go full slash or
any other weapon for that matter. I rather go 15 in all (17 in some setups)
to max out my "Batman belt" . utility skills ftw
