Default No various character creation colours

I cannot change character colors (hair color, beard color, skin tone) and turn on tatooes.
Got those 'arrows' but doesn't appear to do anything but clicks.
I see various colors on other characters, so guess that it is not a texture issue.
Also water textures looks strange, but maybe it is how it's supposed to be.

Im playing in 'safe mode' graphics (obviously forced to it, in other case 3d graphics are not drown, just text windows), on some GeForce FX5200.

I don't know, maybe it's how it is supposed to work in safe mode? Maybe colors are disabled for some reason? Maybe there's something wrong with my game files?

So, how is it?

EDIT: Just to clear up for no reason:

For me works: hairstyle, eye colour, face, beard, size.
Works not: hair color, skin tone, beard color, tatooes.

Hi,
I remember creating completely new character using safe mode.

I clicked the face selection but every time it was showing same face, so I could not know which face I actually selected. Also skin color was same, no matter how much I clicked, so my character ended up being totally randomly chosed.

Right now I am testing this with all graphic settings set to lowest possible. I see same character face on character creation screen no matter how much I click. Eyes also stay same, selecting hairstyle works, beards work aswell and skin tone also.

Then I switched to safe mode. Now I see the face changing properly when clicking the arrows, eyes aswell, hair and hair color, beard and beard color. Only skin tone stays same no matter how much I keep clicking. Tattoos seems not to work at all on safe mode.
So I kinda can confirm your issue.

If you care about your character appearance, I suggest you use computer that can handle maxed graphics when you create new character, if possible.

Do not buy plastic surgery if you have problems on character creation screen. These graphic issues also are same when you are using plastic surgery. Your xims would just go waste.

Could note here I am using nvidia 450 GTS on linux, so I run regnum on opengl. I don't usually use low graphics because this still can handle the game very well on maxed settings

Can confirm. For me, skin tone and tattoos do not work on safe mode. I can however change face type, hair style and colour as well as eye colour.
