Camera max distance got changed on amun, intended like this?

Many noticed the big change on Amun. It greatly reduces the overview on the surrounding area.

I wanted to ask if this is an intended change as im a bit worried about it. Id even like more zoom-out distance then on live now, but amun one is really.. limited.

This is a very annoying change imho, is there any (good) reason for it ?
