Linux installation

im sure im doing something wrong but i just cant seem to be able to install regnum for linux. i looked for instructions on the net and the only ones i could find include downloading a tar.gz file. the only file i can find to download is a bin file that wont open? how do i install it so that i can play?

Extract the compressed package and type /bin/sh $your_extracted_file_here in a shell (text console).

Your download should have looked like a file that says "RegnumOnlineInstall_32" or 64 if youre using 64 bit and downloaded that file.

You should just right click the file, click properties, permissions, and then checkmark "allow executing file as program". Then close out of that and then double click the file. Should install fine.

Thanks heaps. I thought it would have been something as simple as that but i would have never found it on my own.
