Amun open! Testing for removal of basic spell resistances


Changelog - Version 1.28b1
--------------------------------------------

- Modified: Basic resistance to spells has been removed. All spell resistance will now be absolute and only provided by spells.
Archer
- Modified: Dodge. Added Absolute Spell Resistance +2%/+4%/+6%/+8%/+10%.
Warrior
- Modified: Martial Reflexes. Added Absolute Spell Resistance +3%/+6%/+9%/+11%/+15%. Critical Chance raised to +100%/+200%/+300%/+400%/+500%. Duration reduced to 30/35/40/50/70.
- Modified: Crash. Changed Spell Resistance for Absolute Spell Resistance -3%/-6%/-10%/-15%/-20%. Added Cannot be resisted.
Barbarian
- Modified: Challenging Roar. Spell Resistance in level 5 changed for Absolute Spell Resistance +15%.
Knight
- Modified: Challenge. Changed Spell Resistance for Absolute Spell Resistance -2%/-4%/-6%/-8%/-10%.
Mage
- Modified: Clumsiness. Removed Dexterity reduction except in level 5, which is now -25%. Added Absolute Spell Resistance -3%/-6%/-9%/-11%/-15%.
Conjurer:
- Modified: Shifting Silhouette. Changed Evade Chance for Absolute Spell Resistance +2%/+4%/+6%/+8%/+10%. Ranged Received Damage at level 5 is now -20%.
Warlock:
- Modified: Sadistic Guards. Changed Spell Resistance for Absolute Spell Resistance -3%/-6%/-9%/-11%/-15%.

Note: Items giving Spell Resistance will be adjusted in the future to give other similar value modifiers. These numbers are not final, this is just to test how the game is perceived without basic resistances.

- Fixed: Resistance to knock down and stun spells were still being applied.

- Fixed: Electrical damage not being shown correctly in the Character details interface.
- Fixed: Colors of modifiers in the tooltip depending on the type and effect on the caster or target.
- Fixed: Unstoppable Madness was not showing all of its modifiers in its tooltip (Resistance to Cannot Attack was not being shown).
- Added: Description for Attack Speed and show hits per second as well.
- Modified: Reduction to Crowd Control resistances don't apply while the Barbarian is under the effect of Unstoppable Madness.

About Opponent modifiers: If this modifier is in a spell you cast on yourself, it affects all of the enemies that attack you while active. If this is in a spell you cast on an enemy, it affects all of their enemies. For example: in the current case of Dodge, if I cast it on myself, everyone that attacks me will have less Knock Down resistance.

Why didn't we go that route before?
(Imho) If we could modify a few Debuffs (elemental exposure, infuriate) that way it could fix a few nitpicks about the Warlock class. For now, instead of changing every Spell lacking in power, we should just debuff the Armor points of every enemy.

This has been in Regnum for a long time. We tried using them before but they weren't so popular. Now, with better effects, seems to gather more attention

For now, we're focusing on testing that everything works as intended. A balance stage will come in the future.

- Fixed: Attack speed reduction in Shifting Silhouette was not working properly and the modifier's text was not set.
- Modified: Son of the Wind overrides current Absolute Spell Resistance and applies its value directly.
- Modified: Protection Dome. Removed Absolute Spell Resistance. Caster is not affected. Removed Caster Movement Speed reduction. Added Resistance to Physical Damage +4%/+8%/+12%/+16%/+20%.

Spell resisting items such as "Ring of the Twins" (+12%), as well as "Tenax Warlock Set" doesn't seem to work. At least their supposed values don't add up.

Basic resistance to spells is removed so it's set to 0% and that's why items do not affect it... or just spell resistance bonuses from items are disabled.
