Question So, why should i play this game?

I, being bored, decided i'd download this game. I logged in and made my char in the forest realm (forgot its name) The game seemed good, nice graphics, quests were good, liked how the npcs could attack monsters. Gained some levels got some money. But i slowly felt i was playing a solo rpg.

The lack of people really made me think twice about this game.

So i ask the community. Why should i play this game? What makes it speical? Were the people just hiding away or somthing? Does it get funner and can you see this game having a bright future?

Or should i just go back to other games such as FlyFF and ect.

If i get some good responses then ill make sure to keep playing for a while longer.

Thanks for your time

Hello.
I've played for a while, since January this year.
I'm currently level 50 (the highest level)

I started in the Ice realm, Alsius and I were hooked from the first moment.
Now they are even putting in more quests and an epic story line, so things will get even more fun

In Alsius there were plenty of ppl in the initiation island.
I were playing along with many others and we quested together.
I don't know the case with the other realms, but suppose it's different depending on time on day. You know, most players are from Argentina and they are living GMT-5 timezone

The big fun began when I made it out of "the big gate" to Montsognir (Alsius capital) and started do discover new places.

I made quests, killed mobs, and gained level 30 or so.
Then the real fun started. I began fight in the warzone.

The soul of this game, in my opinion, is the great PvP it have to offer.
Depending on what level you are, you might not have discovered this yet.

These big fights we sometimes have at samal, fights that lasts for a few hours, that's plain heaven. It makes this game the best game ever!

I'm sure this game may look boring from the "outside", but the fun will begin around level 30+ so keep it up

Hope to see you in warzone some day.

liquidicev,

hi; you choose the realm of Syrtis; as Znurre says, depending on the time of day and your geographical position, the connected players vary a lot from 300 - 350 at Argentinian night to smething like 50 at the morning (we are talking about all the players in all the realms).

I know this number seems small, but a few (just a few) months ago it was far below 100 players at it finest moments.

Again, Znurre is right about fighting after lvl30; for most of us the fun only begins when you start fighting in the war, the best of all is a (rarely nowadays) battle between the 3 realms. Anyway you have almost sure a nice battle every night, some of them got as long as 2 hours, *sigh* thats nice

Anyway, use the /users command in the chat window to see how many players are connected and feel free to talk; even when this game is heavely populated by spanish players, most of us will be willing to help as best as we can.

And finally, play a bit longer, try to get involved in a party, you'll get hooked almost sure into the game.

Cheers.

Hello,

Two friendly corrections:
- Argentina is GMT-3.
- Most players were from Argentina. Right now, there are people playing from all over the world, Spanish and English are the two most widely used languages in the game.

And as stated, the part where you will find the most fun is in the Player versus Player aspect of the game, which in turn belongs to the Realm versus Realm context.

We have right now a curious unbalance between PvE and PvP. We are planning to improve both areas and our intentions are to get the users closer to PvP, earlier.

Again, this is an ever-evolving game. If you don't like what you see or play right now, the best you can do is come back after a while and see the improvements, you might get a pleasant surprise.

Regards

teamplay is a major factor in this game.
at least at war.
sadly its almost useless when lvling in party

but at war you have to be in a team to have any success.
so it might start as a solo rpg but that will change rapidly after you reach the mid-lvls.

and i totaly agree here with znurre
