That do not worries me - i have an older brother IRL, so i have been like that my whole life..

If i decide to move what will make me choose is:

- people that will be around - friendly and welcoming. I can live with all sorts of ppl and do not pretend to be so nice to others in fact.

- people to want to war. After all we play this game to war and have fun.

What will stop me:

- boss wh*ring and leaving wars because of it. This makes me sick every time it happens in Syrtis.

- RP wh*ring and suicidal behavior. This kind of people want to have fun, but do not care for the fun of others.

- Demanding, yelling, wannabe leader ones. My "favorite" type.

- multirealmer, spying obsessed and stuff. Bashing people for this is in best case unfriendly.

As a whole i like the move idea. Alot people do it and grid characters. If there is not so expensive way to go and then return - why not. If payment is WM points, RP works too. Ximerin if it is not too expensive.

Thats a different story, that can be cheap or even free of charge, but only available from time to time when there is a need for it.

I think 80-150k xim would be an appropriate cost for an always available and unrestricted premium service.

I voted no. I see too many potential problems if this came true.
- People would load the character full of items that they want to move to another realm with them. Some items would be too worthy in other realms than they are in the original realm. Some items are not usable in other realms. Like if evendim amulet/ring got moved from syrtis to ignis, it would be the best amulet/ring around there for mages. Before someone says thats unfair ignis lack good jewerly for mages, I agree, but this problem should not be solved with realm change scrolls.
- Start character in high populated realm to achieve warmaster status /rp/anything more easier. When that is done, change realm.
- Social reasons. Like already said, I hate to kill my friends in game. I can be annoying and I will be for sure. In games like this, where people kill each other it is very common players actually start raging when they die. But I must kill you if you are enemy. Solved this quite much by not getting friends from other realms...
- Realm change scroll would really fight against game's concept. Ignis thinks syrtis are traitors, syrtis thinks ignis are traitors. Why the hell suddenly would syrtian character move to ignis, and why would ignis tell her warmly welcomes. Even during the first quests when starting the game, npc's are brainwashing you with their propagandas against other realms xd

If we anyway assume they gave us realm change scrolls, we can assume they would be very expensive. What would be the reasons to use it?
Lazy to grind again in another realm? You could just buy the lvl45 scroll, then use few boosters when gamesamba is giving us free server boosts, thats lots of experience and pretty fast, depending of the boost you buy. Would still maybe get cheaper than buy realm change scroll, depending of course of its price. At lvl54 or so, you could just join war and stop grinding. That level is high enough imo.
Want to move your gears? If you could get gears with you when changing realm, that would just bring problems like I already said. No thanks.

I voted yes, as long as there is a restriction in place such that the only way to change is from an overpopulated to an underpopulated realm.

I decided that I was no longer having fun in Syrtis, so I moved to Ignis. The reason for not having fun was not the people, I got along with mostly everyone, main reason was that most of the time we would zerg everything and anything. We could farm to just within range of save altar guards and still have minimal losses. This predictable war was not fun for me.

Currently my knight there is at level 56 and it has been a pain to get it there, I have somewhere in the region of 30k WMC. Whereas my knight in Syrtis is already level 60 and a WM, so I could've avoided all of the hassle and pain of going through grinding/collecting coins again.

I would welcome such a feature.

As for boss items, personally I don't care who wears what and in which realm. I've heard syrtis players dropping tenax gear during the non stop invasions, so really, how is it any different if someone comes into realm with a different realm's boss gear. However, perhaps a solution would be to change such boss gear to the equivalent of the realm a person.

Anyway, I would love to see this and I would readily move my WM knight along with other high level chars over so I don't have to go through the entire process again.

I hope regnum becomes different in time. I hope instances help to that. Lately it gets worse and worse. People become greedy, unfriendly there is hate and intrigues.

I would like to see regnum not as 3 realms separated and stuff, but 3 fractions where is peace/grind zones people can talk, chat and trade no matter the fraction.

In other zones war is war and noyone is spared.

Dunno alot needs to be changed to build again community RO once have. Hope i see this some day.

I have no problem with items being transferred. This will help weaker realms getting stronger. Bunch pixels being sold - why should i care. In fact i will be happy to see this items used. Some people hoard tons of items, gold, magna in stashes.

I have no problem with grinding chars in bigger realms too. It helps again in weaker realms and it is income for NGD.

I have no problem with gaining WM and transferring - more WM's for them better for us. More challenge and fun hell yea!

I have no problem with killing friends. It is game and everyone will understand this. I like awra, enio, rhan, starti, SoL and i got no problem killing them in WZ. I doubt they have problem killing me too if they get chance to do so.

I agree with this. The attitude of the community has changed so much since I started the game. From what was a friendly community it has changed to a community of insults and greed for these virtual items. Of course, I don't speak for everyone. There are still plenty of good people in the game both old and new.

I will simply continue to behave as people treated me when I first started. I remember receiving my first level 50 epic knight BP for free when I was merely level 24. This, sadly, doesn't happen any longer. Thankfully, I am not so attached to my items, in fact, I removed almost all my gear in my Syrtis characters including thork amu and a few +15 elemental great gems. I am also in process of getting rid of my collection of magnanite there. There really is no point of hoarding my items (unless of course a realm change scroll comes about, I may regret it!)

People act for themselves. People who change realm are not doing that because they are selfless. They do that because something makes them unhappy, they are curious, they can get satistified feeling from doing some certain thing. More we think that, more you notice everything you do is actually selfish.
You give items away because you like the feeling when you know someone is happy. You help others because you get the feeling. You.

I have got few people on msn from other realms. I can read what my realm mates say in game. Many people rage at some point. I hear insults when I kill some certain person. Because you try to be good and understanding, that does not mean everyone are like you. Many people here get very mad after getting killed few times.

Every time I help someone in Syrtis, I think that as I help my realm. Fight for my realm, help newbies if I happen to see someone is in need of help, go for bosses on my lvl60 conjurer because I want to believe that can help someone and making Syrtis better. The role-playing part of this game. Unfortunately these days people who actually like the role-playing on role-playing games are very rare.
For the boss items being transferred to another realm, why would I help Syrtis to kill boss if ignis or alsius gets profit from that..?

Everyone is selfish.

Instead of realm change scrolls, NGD should find some proper way to balance realm populations. There has been now some nice suggestions, like character creation wizard. On longer run I believe that would work much better, with less risks of being abused. Balancing realm population is NOT players job. It is NGD's job to redirect new players to the realm that needs them most.
