Default HP Laptop 6910p

Hello Everyone,
I'm new to the both Regnum and the forums....I hate to ask such a noobish question but does anyone know or have any experience an HP Laptop 6910p to play Regnum Online???

I'm looking from specs on this laptop and I'm currently running Fedora 13 on it....I was almost certain it would run...

Thanks!!!

What graphic card/chip does it have?
I think that's where the answer mostly depends on.
Is Intel GMA X3100 correct?

A review of your video chip;

http://www.notebookcheck.net/ATI-Mob...00.3711.0.html

It does mention having to play in low settings; having said that, I used to play this game with a 128mb Ati All-In-Wonder video/tv tuner card, and it ran great.

I'd say give it a go; might end up being fine.

I tried installing and running Regnum Online and I'm getting the following:

Unsupported video card!

There are three possible causes for this error:
1. Your video card is too old
2. You haven't installed the latest available drivers
3. You haven't installed the latest DirectX version

I have a similar if not identical laptop. Problem for me under Linux seems to be the lack of a texture compression library called S3TC. Read more about it in the "Known problems" thread. Under Windows Vista the game works well with Shader Model 2.
