Challenge Experience

What is the actual calculation that goes into the challenge experience value?

On the wiki it says 8% of the base xp per level the mob is above the player. So for a base xp of 100, with 10 level difference the challenge should be 80.

However when I (and Lady of Light) tested this we got closer to 1.3% of base per level, about 6 times lower! This was for a level 10 hitting a lvl 57 mob.

They added safe-guards against powerleveling

Any specific details on what safe guards they added? I guess a -logx + c graph for x as the number of levels difference.

These sort of safeguards seem a little on the nose when you can literally get over 10k xp per letter which teaches you *nothing* about war - but that's a rant for another time.

well i was power levelling a clan mate just a few days ago.she was making a new barb.she was taking much larger damage than used to be a year ago when i last did it.we had a lot of trouble doing it the old way and had to work out a new way to do it....we did.

i hope they are not trying to remove the ability to power level,those people more often than not buy scrolls for it.

Why do people think NGD are always out to get them? It's like they can't do right by any one. Perhaps she has worse resists on her armour than you did. If anything, mobs have been nerfed since before.

I think we need to wait until the end of May for any exp/char progression changes. I hope that the developers will do a "good job" this time. ^^ GL!
