New download rate = fail

After the new update (1.0.5) i tried to play and everything was fine until resources started downloading...
It doesn't STOP downloading, but it goes so incredibly slow it may as well not go at all. Furthest i got was 310/1200 resources downloaded (estimate) at about 25 bytes/s. Once in awhile it would jump to 40-45 kb/s, but i still never got close to finishing.
And i mean, i didn't even get to the character selection screen...hoping this will be fixed soon? Because i never encountered this issue before...

ive never been able to play since today..

its been on for like 3 hours so i guess i can forget playing when update all was checked

basically my results mirror your own.

sucks that you cant have it download all at once at a reasonable speed without being forced to uncheck it play with lag spikes while downloading yet.

my suggestion would be obvously uncheck update all resources at once and you can get in, but you will suffer the downloading frequently.

i tried reloading the game, and it finally did after 5 times to crash, brought it up again and missing parts of the world, pets dont rex, huner doesnt run fast any more lots of bugs and very slow and laggy, yeah not worth playing really any more.

Hello,

It is recommended for you to download the latest installer from the following link:

Windows version
Linux 32 bits version
Linux 64 bits version

Thus, that this update had resource downloading problems and a new resource server was incoporated it is online now, so downloading the new installer is optional.

I would recommend first to try and enter the game without "Update all resource at once" enabled, so disable that and try again.

Then I would recommend that you exit the game and try with update all resource at once enabled to see if you can download all the new resources from the 1.0.5 version of Regnum Online.

If nothing of this works, I suggest to download the new installer, which link I provided above.

I ma having the same issue.. Eternal download, then disconnect (because idle?). Anyway the link for the updated installer is nice.. but at these current speeds will take 2 or 3 days to download it. I'm not sure what the bandwidth problem is, but if someone has any other suggestions please advise.

It would take me nearly 2 hours to download the new installer, but thats because my internet has shitty speeds for downloading files for some reason :/
