Weekly Maintenance & Balance Tweaks
Hey everyone
Today during maintenance we added few small changes : Arcane strike Mana cost : 250-300-350-400-450 -> 200-235-270-305-340 Knight haste Duration: 3s -> 4s Mana cost: 50-90-135-180-220 -> 50-80-110-140-170 Defensive support Mana cost: 120-140-160-180-200 -> 105-120-135-150-165 Precise block Mana cost: 90-110-140-170-200 -> 80-100-120-140-160 |

This is great! Fast and quick adjustment .
Well Leily, so after the new update, not only me, but many knights noticed that Defensive Support at level 5 was failing too much, as from past experience it felt true to itself being 65% resists, but now I'd say it is about 35%. It just seems to fail too much, and it is not only me. Following are few of MANy who think about it, doing this so my thread aint ignored lol. (cant believe i gotta do this ) http://postimg.org/image/6nmwwlbg3/ http://postimg.org/image/z1scggz03/ http://postimg.org/image/o3h2yaaer/ Now : I think defensive support is either being bugged or broken because nothing was changed to it, so perhaps it is somehow affected by the use of Paladin aid (?) But its not always failing because of aid so cant say that either. One thing is for sure that either Def sup is broken, or its RNG is broken, but it needs a fix anyhow. One thing else I noticed that needs a change is that, suppose you do Paladin Aid on your ally , and then that ally takes a spell like Darkness, so by aid that darkness is directed to us and we take it. But the spell animation of darkness, goes to the ally instead of us, thus if someone would tend to dispel that darkness, and he does it to the ally who he sees it on, it wont affect us thus its hard for people to see if a knight needs dispel or someone else. Now, i made a recording of my playing on knight, and i did a check on all the spells i resisted from def sup, and didn't resist them. After summing up with only 1h of warring, i saw that 45% of the spells casted on me, were going through def support, which is supposed to be 65% resist chance while it was truly only 45%. |

Great changes but still you didn't reduce cooldown of Stalagmite at least make it area 6 ;P Please take a look at Blessed, knight WM spell which is useless and not worth WM.

Yh just random nab compilation, not all the faiils, but seriously very rare seeing a success. Also please NGD, im 100% sure its just not me, Defensive support is not 65%, i calculated it myself it is 45%. Can a dev give us any feedback on this? It will be very nice if we get some feedback.. Please do check it ! |

I did a test years ago, for steadiness the result was correct around 25%, i resisted 1 of 4 kicks. For def support was not , it fail a lot. But some knights seems to resist everything, really curious how it works. |

No ready complaints on these particular changes, BUT I must submit, the current version of Knight haste is entirely too top-heavy, so how about a smoothed-out effect overall, say 10% @ 1, 20 @ 2, 30 @ 3, 40 @ 4, & 50% @ 5, hmmm?
