Crash a LOT for the past few days

This Linux Client was very stable before - I did not crash
but for the past few days I crash a LOT
today I crash every few minutes.

why ? what have you changed ? how can I fix it ?

and yes I play in safe mode.
I have ATI9800Pro video card run Linux Ubuntu feisty.
and all was fine before.

Maybe because you have ATI :P
Before update, my client crashed a lot, and now I have counted 1 crash so far, but I am using Nvidia card.

Doesn't matter, it was fine a few days ago.

at the moment it seems not to matter if you run ati or not. Surak disabled the shaders for ATI.

How does it work without safe mode?

I'm running ATI on Ubuntu Feisty - I'm not crashing but from time-to-time my system hangs and I'm forced to power-cycle.

yeah, if I play in normal mode after a few minutes the client really laggs.
in safe mode it just crashes

When it crashes, does console promt SIGSEV segmentation fault? Then i got the same problem.

Just strange: I played from start to lvl 10 without crash or freeze. But one minute after i teleported i freezed.

Solution>> just reboot the machine, that gives me some hours without crash
