conjuerer sux now
conjurer has
no armor no hp no speed no range so you cant take a hit if you heal its max 600 gone one hit your dead anyway. cant run away or catch a enemy. so your the slowest at getting rp cant hit other ranged players cause your hit first. usualy with dizzy so cant cast when you do get in range. then your held. if you try to kill a figher you dont do enough damage and your owned anyhow. your spells take 1.5 to 2.0 seconds to go off WHY? your hit 3 to your 1 by knights and barbs. you are already hit by long range player why do you have to wait to cast? at least give conj no wait on spells this character is total fodder for enemy RP. by that time unranged players are on you. and you have no hp left anyhow, warlocks take most of your life one hit. im about to give up. last patch you didnt make it better you made it worse you slowed down spells recharge. wth are you thinking?????? its a bad joke you cant lvl with them unless you are forced to be a healer. then all you can do is run around trying to find a person that will get hit. and hope to get some xp. my staff alone when it hits"doesnt always' makes 17 damage on very hard mob. my most powerful spell of all does 200 dmage to a very hard mob. that is IF it hits which is about 50% of the time on very hard mob even with buffed concentration at 87. but a lower lvl barb like lvl 35 "im 41" hits without spells doing 300 to 400 damage all of the time. this character is nerfed and im not spending months to make another. a conjurer is = to a battle priest and in fighting setup should be the most powerful fighter on the field. in this game its the most punk all it can do is hide and heal others. now im sure fighters and archers will say stop whinning. but this character is nerfed because fighters and archers whined im sure. now they will say stop whinning because they have all the conjueres to get rp from. if a hunter with a pet that is "very easy" can kill me after his own death because i didnt have enough hp and heal was used and regeneing then somthing is very wrong with this character. if this is the second post i made on this i appologise i couldnt find the first to see what people have said. or if a admin replied with some words of hope. |

Hi, I'm Xephandor. Probably you know me as "that insane that keeps on posting until night" or as some old conjurer that once played for a while and now is out of combat due to the lack of free time.
In my humble opinion, conjurers shouldn't have hp, speed, armor or range. But they MUST be the class with most mana, we should heal more, have area buffs, and be hard to train. Why? Because we're supposed to be a defense class, or support to be more accurate. That means we should be at a safe place and every class should be protecting us. Why should we be hard to train? So that way we'll be the most wanted of every class out there. Why shouldn't we have any defense? Because that way it forces our allies and us to stick together and work as teams. Hey, anyone can kill, but we're the only ones who can keep you alive! If the others let us die, then they'll loose any battle. In my experience, any group (even if they were 2 times bigger) couldn't survive on the warzone or at taking a fort without conjurers. We can still get a good share of the RP's by buffing and healing. Let your allies be hit and then heal them so you can get more points. Buff the ones you know are going to kill more enemies. We're supposed to keep people alive, not to kill them. There are other 5 classes to do the dirty work. You still have some strong points if you use the right skills at the right time. The only thing I can tell you by now is "try all the skills you can, invest every skillpoint, search and develop new tactics". Of course you won't be like any other conjurer... Every player arranges their skills according to their gameplay. And let me tell you something: If you get to 50 as a healer is a merit, you deserve to be protected, escorted and that shows that you're an excellent player.

agreed if a healer is what you want
but a battle priest is the class a conjurer fits into also.
and in any other game there awsome fighters there was no listing that conjurer was JUST a heal/buff class and now it seem like your forced to just that or spen a few more months makeing another class. im just gonna leave i like mixing it up. i have a battle priest on KO. does unbelievable damage more then any knight and thats what i was going for. now im supposed to hide in the back and be protected. im sry but not goin for it ill just find another game this one seems to be losing people right and left anyhow. just had a fight at samal and there was a row of dead conj leadign back. kinda proves what im talkin about very clearly. you want to force people into one class then make it perfectly clear before they spend months working on one. when it was beta this character was very good and now it bites hard. now that its open they have changed it to a crap charcter |

As a conjurer i can say that for sure the conjurer is far from being weak.
To level its the easier and fastest class (to see that just chck the rankings) to get lvl 50. For the RP you are totally wrong as well. Quote:

(but i agree with xeph, area buff and better buff management would be nice though) PS: i almost forget to tell about the half of the time invulnerability provided by the sanctuary (thats probably one of the most unbalanced spell in the game in my opinion... but it makes battles funnier for everybody). 2 Very happy and satified conjurors here
we fight, we heal, we support (which is both when done with consideration for the surroundings). we feel they're beautifully balanced too :P Illandria & Taeris (icckleblackbird) Lvl 42 and climbing.

As a side note:
RO is arranged so every class needs every other for perfect balance. I can sure as hell kill a higher level Barb, Warlock or Hunter 1 on 1 if I get the timing and position right. Marksmen & Knights are a lot harder: but 2 conjurors can take on any 1 class regardless (we've done that repeatedly) Everyone needs us, we need everyone. Welcome to the war.

I don't want to force anyone into being "full support priests" (using global gaming terms), it's just as I see the role of a Conjurer. When you have a special ability that no other class in the game has, it's expected (by almost everyone) that you should use it.
What would be said if a Knight doesn't use armor and instead it starts using damaging spells? I don't see the point there, I'd recommend you to change to barb. The same happens with conjurers. If your specialty is to keep allies alive, it would be way too paradoxical that you could kill people. If you want that, just change to warlock and that's all. Seems that you haven't been on battles when we were killing machines but wars lasted just a few minutes because NOT A SINGLE CONJURER could heal or revive. When a group of "mad" conjurers started to fill complaints about the buffs and heals we turned into the most strategical piece on the wars. I love my class because I know that when I'm with my party I'll make every man count as two of them. Even if the enemies outrun us I know that buffing we'll win. I'm talking from personal experience. Though, there's a long way to reach the perfect balance: we need buffs that are really worth having, and so many buffs that not a single conjurer shall be like another. There should be area spells for the ones that prefer being on the front of the battlefield and personal spells for the ones that go on hunting. In my humble opinion, that would make the conjurer the most versatile class on the game and make it the most wanted one on the warzone. I know that the conjurer has 250 spells, so it's almost impossible to balance it quickly, but maybe through time we'll get the perfect balance. And Illandria, let me quote you on this: Quote:

The problem is that a conjurer can't level alone at higher levels.
Yesterday I levelt in a group with another conjurer and 2 Hunters. The Hunters were so fast that I made only one hit on each mob what gave me 3 XP. Yes, 66 Group Points also, but that's not much. Also I noticed that i am the first target when my group get's attacked by enemies. Two blows from a knight and I am dead. Maybe the should add an "Invisible Spell" for Conjurers.

so much to reply to
one thing i hear the most "maybe you should change class"
screw that i wont speand another day let alone another month or two doing mind numbing leveling. the fun in this game is the war and in other games priests can heal themselfs again 4 and 5 other attackers. in this game you cant heal agains 1 attacker for more then 1 hit yeah you have a spell that stops damage for a minute then your dead meat cause you cant run remember your the slowest. and the joker that says he can take on any one is totaly full of it. if one spell misses your dead period. and bite me if your able to find people to be with you all the time. the thing is you all keep saying IF. if you find a group if your timing is right if you were only some other class. the priest is never fodder in any other game only this one makes evil classes better. like warlock if your a healer you should be able to heal yourself against mutliple attacks. not have to depend souly on the support of others to keep you alive. thats just stupid. your saying "you must expect to be an easy kill' you should at least be able to heal your slf repeatedly and it should take more then one other class to kill you if your attack is nerfed more then any other class. a heal/buff priest does little damage. but can sustain great damage through great healing/buffing powers. and should have great resistance to evil spells. this priest has none of the above. and i think it sux hard . its a new invention of a great class that stinks. i wouldnt mind healing and buffing if i wasnt killed so easy. so you just go on being RP fodder for the enemy ill go find another game. i really like this community and will miss it. but if the devs dont offer a chance to trade for a different class at equal level then i got to go. and you know as well as i they wont so later. ill pop in now and then to see how gimped this character is but cant waste any more of my time on it. and to the smack that said i want a overpowered character to kill knights or what ever. no i just want a character that has a little surviveability if its not going to have damage power. and this one has neither. when a battle priest is made you have to give up armor class but gain awsome damage power. its not just a awsome powered self healer. when a heal is made you have awsome defence little damage. to put it simply you cant always be with others. and are useless alone. and everyone says you have to have other people. well it sux to have to find these things out after you spend so much time on the character. maybe you should put a note on the home page with this warning for people just coming into the game looking to make a character this character can do very little alone. this character will be killed by most everyone even weaker players. this character can not run away from attackers. this character can not heal itself against attacks for more then 10 seconds then no one would waste months of there free time leveling a character they really dont like or want. dont you think that would be fair to others just coming into the game. im pissed cause after testing i chose this character on what it was. then when game is open, oops were gonna nerf your chartacter so sry to bad you lose. maybe you should spend another 2 months making another character haha great way to say thanks for beta testing for us.
