So, this announcement was posted over on the GS forums. Couple of problems;
1) Amun is no longer listed on the Server list.
2) Hunter Ichigo made a very good point earlier on the FB group -- When they arrive, there is no way anyone on Haven will be able to kill them. The dragons need a serious amount of people online, and Haven has lost so many people that Alsius is the only realm that has anything like the remotest chance to kill the dragons. Syrtis and Ignis will struggle, unless the dragons are made weak enough that less than 10 mid levels can do it. That is what syrtis now operates with - mostly level 40-50 people.
At the moment, syrtis is now so underpopulated that they cannot kill Evendim. GMT daytimes, it has less than 15 people most days.
Sorry to say it, but for the first time in its history, Haven has become unsustainable.

It is expected to be available tomorrow. If you still can't see it, make sure you have the "show AMUN server" checkbox ticked in the launcher advanced options.

Fairly good point. Although Ignis is able to kill Daen quite often, although sometimes the bosskill fails. Most of the bosskills take place during EU evening, when the server population is in its peak. This is not only the consequence of low population, but also incompetent player ("noobs", who kill igneos at daen, for instance) and the fairly useless knight "bosswhores" who are encouraged by highest drop-rate.
We still have no information on how the new dragon bosses will be deployed. Will they be lvl 60? Will they be stronger than the previous ones? Will all classes/levels have an equal chance of drops? Will the instance have certain level-requirement?
After we get more information, I believe we can discuss possible difficulties regarding the bosses, but atm it's simply too soon to draw any conclusion.
I'm also fairly sure, that quite a number of players will return from retirement, and others, who ignored the bosses, will start to join the kills.
I wonder what the gear will be like. I'm especially interested about the stats of jewellery and mage staff. If it will have useless bonus as wm/mag/boss staffs currently have, I will be very disappointed. [/QUOTE]

I have to disagree with this. I witnessed Haven in far worse situations. Nowadays we get action even in European morning times. That wouldn't occur a few years ago.
Haven currently has way more players than it used to in its worst times.
Sometimes overpopulation is even worse than under-population. Every realm had its "season" of absurd overpopulation, and that eventually turned out to be it's fall.
It's true, that Syrtis is probably the weakest realm atm, but it could be much worse imho. We still get fair fights.

I would be excited... but I have been banned forever.
Guilty until proven innocent is what NGD Customer Support is saying to me...

I suspect most of the people who aren't active at the moment are waiting for this update so population would be back up on its release and back down a week later.

I hope that staff isn't as useless as all the other rare staffs in the game.

It's probably much worse than you think it is :DHave to sadly agree here. It will prolly be a joke, like all other mage gears & mage-affecting game-mechanics. NGD has turned RO into BO (Barbs Online). If you ain't a barb in RvR (or a bloody OP bosswhore ubergeared marks), accept that most all of NGD's class-imbalancing changes from WM/new lvl cap onwards have entirely relegated your sub-class to the woeful status of the occasionally useful sidekick/additional target. No real class-comparison exists to the overwhelming effectiveness of a well-played, properly supported & DI-ed barb in warzone-mass-combat.
