Good job, I don't think RA server could have killed one just yet.

Any chance that you could tell me the composition of your team?

Megax, I hate this whole 'compensation' thing because every game I have ever played I have made groups for stuff that "needs x-class and y-numbers" that have had neither and still ran very successful groups. To me the whole 'you can't do it with that' is merely a challenge to me.

This is a new challenge, period, and it will take a few days before people figure it out. Once they do they will, like you, want to copy party make-up, and often fail even then, because they are focusing on the wrong things.

Here are some clues: Ignis dragon has high fire resists/attacks, Syrtis dragon has high electrical resists/attacks, goat dragon has high cold resists/attack. Start there, gear from there, cast from there, and see how that goes.

But whatever you do, do not lock in certain group make-ups thinking that is the only effective way to bring them down. Every guild (clan) I was a member of in other games threw away the rules and did stuff in group sizes and make-ups everyone else said was impossible. One of my Mottoes in these games is: what kills you makes you stronger.

I understand what you're explaining to me, but I just wanted to know what "x-class" she used. Notice from the picture that the dragon was killed only with 3 minutes remaining. So yeah, I know that there are different ways of killing it, but are those ways fast enough for it to do it in less than 30 min?

Megax, worthy question. The first kill on anything takes longer than following kills as people start to figure out the answers to the questions I posted in the general forums.

Great job to all that did it and most of the people there were Goat Core players, a real WarMaster crew.

Yeah, he forgot to say Bazinga...

Hint for NGD:

We have 3 other classes than Barbs, Knights and Conjurers in the game. Maybe these classes wants to kill the dragon too.

Unfortunately this game was very poorly designed to start out with. Most games requires a certain party composition to complete an instance. This composition usually consists of a healer:tank:dps at a ratio of 1:1:3. The problem is in CoR there is one particular dps class (I wont mention any names) that is far superior to all the others in every way possible. The only way an archer or warlock would ever get into an instance party was if they were struggling to fill the party.

Its sad that in order for me to be affective in a party I would need to level up a new character as the only classes I have above level50 are a marksman, hunter and warlock.

Megax tonight we managed it with no problem. First kill we did it with 3 mins remaining, but took us maybe 11mins to kill dragon.

Tonight we had 9 barbs, 3 conjs, 3 knights.

Skip to 7:00 for our method. Notice timing for knight auras etc.

Good luck! :)

3rd successful time for Alsius today. Syrtis Haven managed to kill their dragon last night, too. Grats to them! :)
