Really? Offline again?

Does anybody know why the servers are down yet again? I don't mind the downtime, really, it's the lack of awareness that annoys me. It takes a couple of seconds to post a note on the forum with "X is happening, so servers will be down for Y amount of time". We don't know what's going on. People get annoyed because they make special plans in their busy lives to play this game and catch up with friends to find out they can't because they didn't know the servers were going to be down.
I took the morning off work to jump online as things have been pretty hectic recently. Well, that plan was a bust.

Ah. I'm generally not on around this time. Seems I chose a bad morning to take off work! If it's a weekly thing, it would be helpful if they had a sticky outlining the days and times the maintenance takes place so this kind of thing doesn't happen.

it's not that bad. the reboot doesnt take long (it's back already), and if you're in before the playerlock, you won't loose more than 5 minutes of possible playing time :). Takes maybe half an hour including the playerlock, guess you were just unlucky. At worst, the weekly maintenance costs you half an hour of playing time.
