Rumors about RA -> Haven transfer

I've recently heard about this from a realm mate, I just wanted to know if it was true :

Can RA player transfer his account to HAVEN for 100$ ?

The answer is most probably NO, you cannot transfer your account from one server to another. At least not as we speak. Always be careful when there's money involved in any kind of rumour... keep those bucks safe from evil, nasty scammers, predators, and blood-sucking aliens.

Obviously it's a lie, otherwise they would have made this " chance " public.

Not really a lie. I've had a friend who successfully transferred his account from Piranha to Haven before it Piranha was merged with RA. Don't know if some money was involved in it or not.

I think it just comes down to how well you persuade the dev(s) and how fair your cause is to request for the transfer of the account. Maybe also how well and close a dev is to you.

This mentioned transfer might not be applicable to all, but as I've known a friend personally, I can say this is possible.

Its not impossible, it was done in the past. But in this case its most likely some kind of scam or someone bullshitting for attention.

Well, you used to be allowed to transfer your RA characters to Horus for free, no idea if this changed after the merge with Raven though?
I don't find the option anymore at least.

When I moved to Horus, it was also fairly dead but I wanted to get away from the constant save ping pong, which is something that was entertaining, but quickly felt completely pointless, unbalanced and repetitive.

I dont know how RA is doing now with relics and stuff, but i dont regret moving.

Money makes the world go round. And the technology or code to switch servers most likely exists. Like Znurre said, people from Ra used to be able to transfer to Horus. And all these merges lately are one big account transfer session.

However I doubt that NGD actually does this. Lots of rumours about merging lately, and nothing official.

When horus was started it wasn't dead at all so I enjoyed playing there, it was entertaining and fun. But as for now, every time I log in, be it in the morning or after relic lock is lifted, I find it less and less entertaining...
Hardly on anyone, hardly any war, hardly any fights and hardly any fun.

Just like this morning when we (alsius) had like 2-4 at gate to defend, relics were not locked yet and we could do nothing but watch and let gelfs get gems ^^
Frustration after frustration, that's all what Haven gives me right now, sad but true.

Having said this, ^^ I'd do anything to be able to move my account to RA, and I'm pretty sure if the situation on Haven won't change, I will stop playing there completely.
That's why I said I don't understand why anyone would like to have her account being moved to Haven.

Hey, just last week or so alsius were the dominant realm in terms of numbers. Tbh the sudden drop is quite surprising. I remember capping forts just a few days ago and watching a massive zerg twice our number coming on the first wave alone.

I also remember being one of 10 gelfs defending the gates against a blue/red horde. It wasn't always fun, but we still made it fun. No way you can stop the invasion and highly unlikely you can stop gems leaving, but at least you can split ppl from the zerg and pick them off. Make it as expensive as possible. That was always fun.

Ppltns rise and fall in this game, its normal.

Re RA, I needed a break from Haven myself and made a toon there. I like having access to two servers, when one gets too much you can switch. At the end of the day though, I find it is friends that make the difference. If my mates are in Haven I play Haven. If in Ra I play Ra. Even if we are outnumbered in Haven, I'd rather play with my mates there than go to Ra having a more ppltd realm but no mates online.

It's the party that makes it fun :harhar:

Edit - not too sure about having toons from Haven/Ra accessible on the other server. Might make for a very unstable server with ppl rage dropping one server for another for silly reasons. Alternatively might make it very unbalanced... I go to Ra, gather a horde of players there. Come to haven and invade with ease, get wishes to improve toon, go back to RA. Not to mention Ra ppl will simply come to Haven to grind. It's not that big a deal to make another toon on another server if that's really needed.
