7th Anniversary Event - Rules and Details!

Introduction and Event Duration:

During today we'll launch the 7th Anniversary event, where everybody will be able to participate in order to win great prizes! The Event will start TODAY at 5pm GMT and it'll last until Sunday at 12 am GMT. During this whole time, all activity from the participants will be taken into account.
Remember to add an hour in case the time in your country has been changed due to summer season!

Event Explanation:
The Event will consist in 2 parts that'll work simultaneously: one of them will be focused on PVP/RVR and the other one in PVE.


The PVP/RVR side of the event will count the RP obtained by players: These will be measured with the use of Rankings, and all of those who earn at least 50 RP will be included in it, giving them the right to win prizes (armor enhancements; magic gems; etc)
The top 10 in this list will be rewarded with the prizes shown in the image below!
Keep in mind that this part of the event has no level restrictions at all, and it's not bound to fort fights either. Any RP you win from fort wars, invading or even going out solo hunting will count.



The PVE side of the event will count the Experience points obtained: These will also be measured by using Rankings, and all those who earn at least 20,000 Experience points will be included in it, giving them the right to win prizes (exp and gold boosters).
The top 10 in this list will be rewarded with the prizes shown in the image below!
Keep in mind that the extra experience obtained from boosters will NOT be considerated, as we want premium and non-premium players to compete in equal conditions.
As for level 60 characters: even though you don't visualize having obtained experience after killing a creature, the EXP points earned WILL be counted for the ranking.

At the risk of playing the devil's advocate here, I have just one concern.. since it's based on RP, what if people log multi alts or friends' chars and kill them repeatedly over and over for hours on end?

Iirc, after a few kills (5?) you won't get any RP at all, so you can't "cheat" too long :D

As far as I know, there was no "Rule" of save camping, or killing the same person over and over again. The most NGD will do is disqualify the people who were "cheating" from the event. If you noticed closely, Snapchat was in the Top 15 throughout the event, and Saero wasn't far behind. :clapping5365:

When the event finishes this Sunday midnight, the next day we will be verifying the points obtained. If we detect save camping abuse or killing someone repeatedly with consent, that player will be fully disqualified. Not even the participation prize. :hat:

taking rp has not much to do with efficiency

its mages and archers that get them their kill many times

Opness is determinated by the facility of earning rps :drums:
