This idea comes from many active players of regnum as an idea for the christmas event.

To Bring TDM, champion coins, armor, and weapons back, to start off the christmas event? And maybe a combination of xim as well? :drinks:

You could also add some medieval knight costumes or just medieval lord of the rings type costum with it? I'd buy that with real money. :bounce5425:

IMO the whole instanced side of the game is somewhat lacking - if the server was significantly more populated (3 x more people at least) then the loss of war level players could potentially be soaked by those who don't want to play TDM, this is not currently the case.

Bringing back TDM will greatly kill the rest of underdog realms, as they are now. Let's say it's 30 vs 10 vs 10 players in 3 realms on (not exact numbers, but not far from it), and when 6x6x6 leaves the war for TDM, the all it stays for regular war is 24 vs 4 vs 4. From starting 3 : 1 : 1 ratio, it becomes 6 : 1 : 1.

Yeah, TDM is war..Hello? Costumes? well ask yourself this, what does xim have to do with christmas? Yeah its a gift, so new and more cooler looking costumes is like giving us a gift. Unlike those lame looking costumes we have. Even the cloths we get at initiation zone look more cooler than the ones they sell on premium items. xD

I really hope some NGD dev will have another look into this thread (http://www.championsofregnum.com/forum/showthread.php?p=1809575#post1809428) again. There are enough possibilites to solve the problem without killing warzone activity. Imo it's just not very clever to block game content.

I guess the reason why TDM isnt back yet is exactly this what you are writing slarti.
NGD is maybe trying to find a way how to not harm warzone activity and (dis)balance and make TDM open in time when warzone is dead and there is no acitvity at all.

And I think that's good effort.

Personally I only miss more WZ bosses, more events and more content.

That's wrong. The overpopulated realm has always to wait for enough players, so they think about changing realm. But that works only if you could join a TDM just once a day .

TDM will only help keep the population more balanced because more players will log in to get a TDM going.

Now the population difference that is going on right now really can't get worse but only better with TDM. If theres a population deference now, what does that have to do with TDM? We don't have TDM as we speak? xD :wiggle14:

yes, once per day would be fine! but PLEASE, server-across instances! Smaller servers will have problems finding enough players otherwise. I really hope this were possible. It could also be great fun to fight with and against foreign players

Lol wut. Haven is already trash. Every blue moon their is decent war. Most the time it's a farm. I don't see how tdm can make war worse when we spend half our time afk waiting for war. Problem is after lvl 60 & WM theirs not shit to do but the same thing we've been doing for years. Get gems. Repeat. I was hoping for dragon weps but we will never see those. Anyway. :beerchug:

Regnum has, Haven (non-Syrtis) doesn't.

Personally, I would take TDM any day than being overrun by zergs of any kind. Once or twice it is fun to fight a zerg but not every single day and every single hour of the play time.

maybe Haven and Valhalla don't, but Ra surely does.
TDM (instance) access should be enabled, because a lot of players loved it, but limited. It should not happen again that instances ruin warzone action. But it should also never happen that favored game content is denied.
So I guess NGD's idea of providing "limited but effective access" by individual SGM-commands is the best one.
But honestly, I doubt the persons responsible @ gamigo will be intelligent enough to handle this new task

Alright, alright. "Limited but effective access" is the best description we're going to get apparently, but I just hope that means something like once per day or one day out of the week. Instances are a lot of fun, and they don't have to ruin the warzone. It would be a nice Christmas gift for them to start re-releasing instanced play. Honestly though, I'd settle for 4k xim xD
