View Full Version : Altar save hieroglyphs

Alo.

Not sure if this has been already posted around, but I found it quite tricky and cute.

As shown in photo, these hieroglyphs actually make sense. In the first 6 lines, devs' names are written. In the 7-th one the expression "Insert Coin Here", and in the last one "Regnum Online".

I guess that the last one should be changed to "Champions of Regnum" :p

Nice to see that some ppl take interest in these things, tho to be correct they
are not hieroglyphs. Its the old nordic runes. (I am a swede and need to
correct these things). ;)

To facilitate the translation, here are the alphabets. Altar saves are translated with the first one, while spell with the second one.

Actually they are the same with the corresponding boards at Rae and Fisg. So you can check them there in peace :]

On that screenie of the save alter, I cannot read what it says on the top line in red... what was that?

And what are the dev's names that are written on them?

In the first line, Chilko and Niclam's names are written. Rest lines (apart from the last two) also have devs' names, like Surak, Droid, DrBrown and Killeak's ones.
