Dear,

I would like to know if the stuff level dropped depends about levels creatures or our level ?

I try to grind on lvl 61 creatures : http://regnum.wikia.com/wiki/Category:Level_61_Creatures

but I drop stuff arround lvl 55.

Anyone has some tips ?

thanks

Personally I find it completely random. However, some people have had more luck on specific mobs. Ghosts in the swamp apparently drop well (but not always). I've had considerate luck dropping 7%cs staves and great gems from Cyclops in Syrtis. Thanks Syrtis.
But I just think it's random. These people may have just got lucky on Ghosts one time and figured that was the secret.

Yep, entirely random. It is however tied in to the RNG, so if you drop once, don't stop grinding! Chances are you'll get a few more drops in a row (as you do with resists/evades). I also believe that mob type has no impact on drops. The most common drops are staves for some reason, followed by bows.

Good luck with the drop grind!

Drop chances are random, yes, but mob level does matter. You will have a higher drop chance if you kill monsters of a higher difficulty or level than yours. If you're level 60, just keep grinding the highest level monsters. I think mobs can drop items that are 5 (?) levels higher than their own levels. There was a grinding guide somewhere that explained drop chances, and mob difficulty I read a while back, but I don't remember where it was and I can't be bothered to find it.

As far as the RNG goes, I believe it's true...Consider drop grinding like playing slots and just keep going until you start hitting ^^ they do seem to come in clusters.

I wonder how this will be effected by the RNG fix coming.

Also is the drop from a mob calculated at kill time or spawn time? I've read that other mmos have the mobs 'equipment' loaded at spawn time. That would suggest killing more mobs after a drop doesn't guarantee anything, but killing mobs that all spawned around the same time would!

Nah, I think it's purely related to resists and evasions.

I was wondering the same thing. I hope it doesn't make drops any less than they are, that's for sure.

The way most values are truncated in Reg I'd be worried that if they lower the drop rate it'll simply become 0!

I performed some testing in the swamp after seeing a nice axe someone dropped ;)
Unfortunately I wasn't as successful. But I managed to drop 1 level 60 item from a Komodo, I think it was. The Anaconda's and beetles dropped far more stuff than any other mob there, and ghosts dropped primarily gold only, and Komodos the second least. That much was for certain. This was after about 50 minutes of grinding as a level 60.

Someone should really start collecting data on the current drop rate to make sure NGD doesn't do a hidden nerf with the RNG update.
