Strength? When did this happen?

I never noticed NGD changed that. Since when doesn't it give any damage to knights? Also it got increased for barbs?

Last time i remember it still did for sure was when wm knight passive increased str. no idea how long ago that was though.

+1.5 base dmg per 1 point of strength for knight and 2 dmg for barb.
I don't see any changes in that :P

Well known bug: Note: The attack damage shown in the character window is buggy and can display the wrong values when switching between weapons. In order to see the correct value one must de-equip all weapons and damage-enhancing equipment, and then re-equip.

Did you try it ingame? damage on my character sheet doesn't change at all if i use str gear or get passives from weapon trees.

It does increase damage. There is only one small bug, that is if you raise your strength(new setup, +strength item), the damage shown in your character sheet doesn't update immediately, but after first hit.

You need to either hit something or re-equip your weapon for it to show the changes to your damage.

Kyrenis and Halvdan are right. this bug is old as the game and affects any class in the game (archers and dexterity, mages and intelligence, warriors and strenght, constitution/concentration from items, hit chance-now removed).

As mentioned by others best way to get real stats is to re-equip your weapon or hit something.

Similar bug affects also your carry weight what is hell annoying at low lvls.

Hm, I kind of hoped the character window was fixed during the recent patch, where it was
reworked. It seems its still broken..
