force the one that you call "multi" to delete the toons in one of the realms they play and you will see that they will leave the game. and don't say no big loss, when haven will lose 66+% of the current active players there will be no haven.

SOME will leave... the determined multirealmers. That's no big loss, haven may lose some players in the short run but it will improve the game. Multirealming is one of the main problems of the game, even if you don't want to admit it.

It would be no worse to convert all these double realm accounts to a single realm, than it was for all players that ended up with double single realm account due to server merge.

They too have invested time and money and end up with 2 knights, two conjurers etc.

No NGD have been greedy, likely underestimating the problems that this would create and now their hands are basically tied.

i log into alsius to chat to certain people,i do not fight and the only thing im guilty of is trolling others who take the game and themselves too seriously.

why should i have to delete my accounts,i spent 7 years in alsius and needed a change.ive used them from time to time to have PvP with my friends in syrtis.thats all ive used them for fighting wise.

the thousands of dollars ive spent supporting this game when i was in alsius should just be deleted because you or others do not like multi's?..i do not think so.just because i no longer use those accounts anymore does not mean i do not want them.

just chill out about the whole multi thing and realise there are no principles only circumstances.

Bigger problem than multirealmers are double or tripple loggers, who play with 2, 3 or even more characters at once, be it at war or bosses, to have advantage of others. Example being one very known player from Alsius... spying through dual logging is problem, not the multirealm thing by itself. Healing a barb with own conjurer while getting attacked by another player, that is crap, but that happens, such behaviour is unfair and dumb. I have no issue with people dual logging to chat (but not to spy) with friends or to transfer items between their accounts without having to ask someone, but abusing that for win is crap. Some do it on one computer, some have two computers close and multitasking with 2 characters.

I only think most people were just stupid and didn't even read the poll description right, and pushed the option containing most 'multirealm' keywords. Either way .. hilarious.

Multi-realming per se is not really the problem (except to realm loyalty purists). The problem is the timing of the logovers (too many just want to play in the current zerg realm).

IF some security-mechanic could be encoded into game that disallows switching (for say an hour or more), that keeps track of all pc's (not ip's) that use or have used NGD accts., then all would have to play where they were atm, or wait at least an hour to play elsewhere.

Is this 'solution' even possible; does such a database of user-pc's exist or can it be created? There are ways around ip-tracking: changing ip, having more than one internet access, etc. A pc-chipset-id methodology for blocking users' access could conceivably end, or at least curtail, both multi-realming as well as multi-logging (but shared users would suffer hour long waits between sessions; a price worth paying?).

Sometimes I get the impression that multis log into a realm and feed players to other realms, specifically to give the other realms RP, etc.

I spent about an hour following a player to war at Aggers over and over again without getting any XP. And our tiny group got few, if any, kills.

As a small group I got more XP when we were hunting for stragglers. It's really all one can do with such small numbers.

But our "leader" wasn't changing their tactics or anything so I started to wonder, "Are they doing this on purpose? Because there's really nothing in it for us, just the enemy."

Maybe I should've voted "BIGGEST PROBLEM" instead of just "PROBLEM"...

Perhaps they multi-realm to break the game on purpose? Nahh...
