Grats on the success on the early access release on steam.
That being said, I'm sure you guys are making a shiny penny out of it... so what what does the future hold in store for RO?

Master Of Orion is a joint effort between NGD & Wargaming Studios. The economics of any business, be it a game development studio or a bakery, are a very difficult thing to handle. The amount of money a team earns depends on too many factors. That being said, we don't have the slightest clue of how NGD is doing economically, so making assumptions based on facts we don't know is not gonna take us anywhere.
Anyways... count me in on the congratz train! And what the future holds in store for Regnum, only the future knows. Plans are made, there's a roadmap out there. So best we can do is hope for no inconveniences to show up, so they can manage to accomplish most things they set up for this year.
Cheers! :drinks:

Congrats NGD! I search for NGD'S logo at promotional page and can't find it...or any name of CoR creators.
Anyway, good luck with the project!
Greetings!

Regnum has its own team and some shared resources with other teams and projects. Of course, if Master of Orion is a huge success it can be good for Regnum and we hope it will. But most of all, we are eager to fulfil this year's Roadmap and count with the trust of our users to keep on playing, some come back and the new ones to stay, because those are the factors of which the future of the game depends on.
This year we're focusing on rebuilding that trust. We can keep on developing, but it is just players who decide if the game grows or not (through that trust).
Master of Orion is an amazing game, a lot of hard work and the trust of Wargaming.net on us. I am very proud of the team and happy to continue striving for a better Regnum at the same time. We went forward in a lot of things lately, specially datacenter related, which is extremely important. Last year's development was severely crippled by this. Now, it's been 3 months without a single issue.
This year, NGD rocks. No more "soon". It's now!

Great news for whole community, Adrian. I hope you'll allocate more people to CoR dev team.

Give Linux users some love too, OpenGL engine needs some works and bug fixes (son of the wind animation bug, no water rendered with mesa drivers, multitexturing bugged, shadows bugged), to be on par with DirectX one please. Seeing that Master of Orion is Windows only, I still have hope for Linux version of Regnum.

That's one of the goals :)

MoO will be available for Linux and Mac also in the future.
OpenGL support is not in our priorities right now, but when we get a bit more of people for Regnum, who knows ;)

If depend on me, even my sons will learn how to play RO :horsey: ahaha Imagine...An entire dinasty of the Legend of Hunters Elva :3 ahah sounds amazing to me!
so trust in the game by the side of the users you guys surely have; Specially if we think in the amount of old users in the game, we see many loyal players in RO, which is rare. Some users are in RO since 8 years ago, thats really very good.
Kind regards and loads of success in the new projects and in the old as well.

Amen to all of that! As well, most Linux users still suffer the lack of 'beam weapons' effects in RO. When the option is on, beam animations crash the game. When off, it means much longer times spent under fire finding ranged attackers, once even aware of them. It has worked in past, then didn't work, then worked again, then did not again. If possible, please fix this issue asap ... congrats on successful launch & best wishes for Master of Orion's future success (including a native Linux version).
