Hello Community,
We're glad to open Amun for public testing of the latest version of the game. This is still work in progress. Ignis and Syrtis questlines are still being polished and tested internally. For now, you can only test Alsius questline.
Please, put your comments here. Also, please avoid feature requests. Comment only about the current changes.

I did a quick look at it ... and the first thought ... all mobs for level 30 - 50 players were removed from a warzone? Some realms have really low concentration of mobs of those levels in inner zones and grinding in warzone was the best option. Adding new high level mobs is surely great, but replacing all lower level mobs by them, I don't know, especially when you expect level 30 players to be there.

But on a serious sidenote, I don't see the point in having green ANY yellow quest indicators. That's just confusing for everyone, specially new players. They should all look the same (and green looks better imo)
Concering the German translations: They are all wrong and in bad grammar. Please consider sending the list of new English words to me or some other player before the updates, so we can provide you with proper translation. I could now start running around throughout the whole WZ to find all new mob names and correct their names for you, but this would require unnecessary hours of running around...
"Testing" the new quest system is rather hard if we don't want to spend 10 hours levelling up to 30?
Sounds all good to me though, cept that the new huge spiders scare me xD

We want low levels to feel compelled to level with players, not mobs. If there are mobs there, they will just be fresh meat for hunters/gankers. Better make them be with warring groups.
That there are still more adjustments to achieve this? Of course.

I'll explain with an example.
If I, an alsirian, take Herbred's relic into my realm's warzone, as soon as I cross the bridge the game will warn me that in 20 seconds it will kill me. If I fail to go back to the warzone of the realm of that relic, I die and the relic gets repositioned in the other side of the bridge.

I currently do not have any characters on Amun, both on my Haven account and my ex-Nemon account. Is this intended as an incentive to test new quests, or just a bug (Assuming it's the second anwser since I've seen no one complaining about it yet, but I might have missed something) ?

imo this thing should work inside realm even at 40-50lvl... ppl will be dissapointed after 30lvl :P Mana regen is a huge problem on low lvls... belive me ;)

I agree mana regeneration is a large issue, especially for mage under level 21 (no ambitious sacrifice). Another way to help low level mages would be to move ambitious sacrifice lower in the mana control tree. This has no effect on the higher levels since most people carry ambitious sacrifice on level 4/5 and take mana control all the way to 19.
One comment on the mob distribution. It appears that many low level (48, 53) golem were upgraded to 60+ or removed. Golem were key for fast warrior grinding as you could get 1-2 free hits without taking damage while they were in their wakeup animation. Is there any way we could keep some of the lower level golems?

Because you probably have finished it already. I checked few first quests in initiation zone, the 'main quest' is composed of the quests that already existed, there is no new one. Only experience reward seems to have been modified (which was not noticeable change for the quests I tried, but it could be for the higher level ones). I do understand that making new quests from scratch would take much more time, than identifying some as 'main quest' and changing the exp, but I was really hoping in that. The problem is not only that you had to do many low rewarding quests (and after level 15, realm task letter delivery was superior to questing), but the problem is also that the quests are almost all the same: Go somewhere, speak to someone, kill something, interact with something, drop something and go back. When you get such a quest 10 times in a row, it gets boring.

Hello everyone!
Amun is updated with the following changes:
- Modified: Realm Relics disable guards when they are dropped in the ground. After being picked up they wait some time to reactivate them so the players can take them away from there.
- Fixed: Initial Constitution attribute was wrongly set at 21 when it should be 20.
- Modified: Creatures are not aggressive if the level of the player is higher than theirs.
- Fixed: Changing a Race messed up the initial attributes.
Regarding the last one, when the update is launched officially, we will be fixing the issues generated by that bug case by case.

There seems to be a bug related to new NPC highlighting. The quest where you are supposed to talk to trainers of all classes in Montsognir, after you talk to each of them, their green question mark turns yellow. After the quest is finished and you leave the city and enter it again, they all have green question marks above their heads, while having no quests.

Another question about the mobs: What about the density? Atm, there are still few mobs for leveling, so levelers have to mess around so long, like actually.

Thinking about the mobs replacement, I have few more worries. Currently one could use "clever" tactics and hit an unchallenging mob during the fight, so that it would break all kinds of stun spells when your enemy uses them. Now with all mobs being high level, doing this will cause you too much damage from high level mob. Even worse, the low level players won't even be able to kill such a mob later, when they do it.
Other issue will be with necrostacy. It is quite easy to fall from a fort wall, because the collisions are still not perfect and you can fall through supposedly solid parts, or just because you do a wrong jump. You could easily kill few mobs around save, or few mobs on the way back to a fight. Now low level players will have to go back to inner realm, kill mobs there and then go back, costing them up to half an hour.
I have also tried to do more of those low level quests, getting from inner zone was quite fast and it was enough to do only the green quests. What I worry about is, if someone decides to do the yellow quests too. With the green quests leveling them fast, they will end up killing unchallenging or too easy mobs for those quests. They may need mob level modifications.

As mana regen is based on the total mana points a character has, it shouldn't be much of an issue at that point. However, it's not a bad idea at all.

I agree mana regeneration is a large issue, especially for mage under level 21 (no ambitious sacrifice). Another way to help low level mages would be to move ambitious sacrifice lower in the mana control tree. There's no modifications planned for ambitious sacrifice in this update.
As for the golems, I see your point. However, there isn't a significative difference between grinding golems and other type of creatures.
In fact, the whole character progression changes we're developing are meant to remove as much grinding as we can, so facing a different kind of creature shouldn't really be a problem.

The main quests are those that are represented by a green sign ("!"). NPCs who give out these ones also display a green glow, starting from the very first one that welcomes you to the world when you create a new character.

Means that if someone already had a lv 14 character then he won't be able to take them?
Or there are quests with the green " ! " that give more xp and thus they can be searched in the game world and be taken at any level below 30 or even above the level 30?

there must be more of them, BUT can you take these quests ONLY if you started again from level ONE?
Are they connected to each other?
Or you don't have to re-start from level one to take them, if you have a level 12 char, you can take them any time until you reach L30?
Are these quests new ones or the former quests were modified XP-wise?

Have you read my answer? They are the same quests, just different exp. That means if you already did those quests before the update, you won't find them. But you will find those green quests that you haven't done yet. So if you are a level 12 character, and you did all quests bellow level 12, you won't find any of those, but you will find 'green' quests above level 12, which are in the main city for that level.

Fixed in the version we will upload later today.

We still haven't revised this. It's something to be done after a thorough analysis. We'll do this in an next iteration.

Nope. That quest will be gone and after the update it will be unassigned.

- Fixed: Giant Poisonous Beetle was not tameable.
- Fixed: Experience Bonus wish was not affecting the experience obtained from enemies.
- Other minor bug fixes (quest objectives, etc).

Their reward will be pretty much ridiculous after this change :D
No idea what is the current WMC value right now for a kill at forts ( Haven ), 50?
Even if it's only 25, after 10 kills you got the 250, while the WM quest wants you to kill 25 unique! Insane! :p.
PS: and I won't even mention WMC boosters ;)

Good thing we can see tattoos on Moloks now! But now there is a new bug: Face and eye color can't be changed anymore (character creation).
I still think yellow AND green quests are too confusing for new players.

Changing those haven't been working on Linux when using mesa drivers for quite some time, if it is your case. It was working for me under wine.

Agreed.

-Kill 10 unique Syrtis / Ignis anywhere in the WZ for 250 WMC
-Kill 20 unique Syrtis / Ignis at forts for 1k WMC.
This could be applied on lower populated servers like Haven.

- Added: Realm Guard items in Premium Item Mall. Warrior Breastplate, Archer Chainmail Breastplate and Mage Tunic. In the future, more parts of the set will be added. Paintable only in the second channel to preserve the Realm appearance.

Companions: your items must be old and have some problem, please tell me which character you used in Amun.
WM Quests: Please, cancel them and retake them. Current assigned quests cannot be modified to avoid integrity problems.

I cannot find breastplates for barb ignis / knight alsius in the xim shop. marks ignis / conju ignis on the other hand, are visible.
amun, linux, multirealm acc, english client.

But now all NPCīs has no armor:wiggle14:
War confidence buff gives +40% HP, but when the buff is active to me, a +40 pops up over my character instead of +40%

There are many minor problems/errors/bugs (e.g. wrong animation of Goblin at Lam Island, wrong sound at Mounts, wrong color at log from heal spells ........ so on....) . Maybe YOU and the Community will meet at Amun and then work together to fix it!
And yes. Iīm from Germany an i love the German Accuracy, but i still play the game in English, because the German translation is toooooo bad! :drinks:

Please try to fix the quest bug too, if you take a realm task first, you can take only 4 other quests, if you take 5 quests you are still able to take a realm task as 6th.
Still not fixed.
Since seemingly you're not planning to raise the quest number for now, I think it should be fixed, don't you think? :razz:
Or is it such a nasty bug? :D

It's a nasty system. But it will have an intervention in the future.

I known, that the translations made by Gamigo. And i play the game since many years in English, but i can give you one example:
Whitebright Amulet
English:

Really wrong translation.
Better: Erhaltener Fernkampfschaden -10%

There are many of those translation problems, but Gamigo has no resources to do so. There are only TWO Community Manager: Laiying and Keyomi who works for Gamigo, but they donīt make a good job as Community Manager. No informations at forum tho the community.......
The other FOUR (2 forum moderators and 2 Gamemasters) are volunteers. They donīt have the time to control or translate all.
Itīs the same problem with the Changelogs. Gamigo hasenīt posted the Changelog 1.13 from November 2015. Because they donīt have it.
Please Adrian, make a Gamigo forum account and post the english Changelog at the german Gamigo forum, so Gamigo canīt say, they donīt have the changelog!

Under the same circumstances of course, inside of the realm only, although I don't see any reason why it shouldn't be allowed for L60 as well ;).
Waiting for the fall dmg penalty to wear off is really annoying, even if it's only a few seconds!
