selling items for xim

I have ben trying to locate a GC/GM for the past 2 days....still looking for one.

My Question is to NGD.are we allowed to post items and ask for xim for the items.

also are we allowed to use these forums to post items for sale/trade?

i want to sell all my alsius gear and buy new stuff in syrtis so thought id post it all here if we are allowed.since im unable to trade that gear for syrtis gear this seems like my only option.

As far i know, sell items for ximerin is not bannable.

This is how some low lvls does to get a horse, they sell mags in game to get xim for the horse.

What i believe is not allowed is you sell your items for real life money, this yes is bannable

About post items for sale here, i never saw no one do this, but regardless of whether, i don't remember of see anything "not allowing" it in the forum rules, and once that all that is not allowed have to be clear for everyone see, so maybe in "the inn" is possible, but im not sure; Would be better the own adm of the forum answer showing to us where is that rule.

solution:

delete my account in alsius and give me 2 x lvl 60 scrolls in syrtis to cover what i lose.transfer my gear from alsius to syrtis.

but this wont happen even though ive spent thousands of dollars supporting this game over 8 years.

Yes, it won't happen. NGD won't support multirealming or selling items for real money/xim.
They cant make an exception for one person because then they will need to do the same thing to a hundred others. Good luck :drinks:

Just give the gear to clan / friends and move on. I gave all conju/lock/barb gear to INQ members when i left syrtis. If you think to comply to NGD rules delete toons (tho it is shame to do so).

You will find same or better gear sooner or later, so it is not a big deal.

They can not support selling ingame items for real money, because it can become problematic for them. I think you can do it, but if you get scammed you can not get support from them.

There is indeed a difference between allowing and supporting it. You can sell items for ximerin, but this is not supported by NGD.
You won't get banned for doing it but if you get scammed, you can wave your Ximerin goodbye.

I strongly discourage you from doing this, but I won't be able to stop you. If you do go down this road, make sure you absolutely trust the other party. Make sure the guy is exactly who he says he is (as much as it's even possible), take your time and don't rush things to figure this out. The main weapon against scammers is taking away their game progress (ban). If it is someone who absolutely doesn't care about this -e.g. low level character or someone who barely plays anymore- they CANNOT be trusted. Meet with them on their main character which they log often and only do this with longtime well-known friends.

They can't write all unsupported things lol, it is just endless and stupid.
No officiel information from NGD basicly means that it is not supported. So if you do it, it is on your own risks.

Since the Ximerin is exclusively meant to be used to acquire services inside the game, using it for commercial purposes is simply not supported.

Plus, add to this the fact that those kind of transactions (exchanging things like, but not strictly limited to, Ximerin/items/accounts for Ximerin/accounts) are not made in-game. Therefore, no official records of them exist, and without these, we can't help you with the required precision even if we wanted to.
