Welcome to the official Champions of Regnum Battlezones guide. This guide will cover the most basic information you may need to know about this game mode if you’re not at all familiar with it.

In order to play Battlezones, the first thing you’ll need are Battlezones Tickets, obtainable by achieving certain war objectives. However, Battlezone access will be completely free during the first week after they’ve been launched.
So with that out of the picture, and to be explained once Tickets are added to the game (you can refer to the game version’s changelog for more info on tickets), let’s proceed on how to join a Battlezone game.

How to join

Battlezones are game modes that occur in independent instances of the game, where level 60 players from all realms are gathered together for a limited amount of time.
Since Team Deathmatch is the game mode that’s going to be available on launch, you’ll be needing not only enemies, but allies as well.
Press your realm icon in the top right of your screen, right below the World Map icon, in order to access the Battlezones Menu.

A small menu that contains a brief explanation of the available game modes should appear, along with the ticket cost (0, in this case), and a “Join” button.
Clicking “Join” will add your character to the matchmaker system, whose purpose is to match you with other players of the server also looking for others to play with.
Keep in mind that clicking Join means that you’re compromising to actually enter the Battlezone when it has found people to play with.

After clicking Join, a small window shows up in the upper section of your game interface, dead center. This shows the following:

Name of the Game Mode: Speaks by itself. In this case, “Team Deathmatch” will be seen there.
Matchmaker Status: This indicates whether if the matchmaker is looking for other players or if enough players have been found.
Team members found: Shows how many players for each team have been found, as well as how many are needed. This serves the purpose of a “pool” of players, which is why you may notice in some cases that the number of players on queue exceeds the maximum for a single match.
Maximum class/subclass players per team: This shows the restrictions applied for the base game, in terms of classes/subclasses.

Match found!

After the matchmaker found enough players, the window described earlier will change, and will now show a “Join” button below a 60 seconds countdown.
Make sure to click the “Join” button before the countdown gets to zero. Once all players have clicked in it, you’ll be moved to the instance.

The instance will start and, if needed, will wait for those players who are still in the loading screen.
Once all players are ready, the match will begin, and you can start fighting your enemies!
By default, the match duration is 15 minutes. Once the timer reaches zero, the team with the most kills will win.

Those who earn their first victory of the day will receive a bonus amount of coins, only applicable to the first match won during that day.
Those who lose, will receive approximately 30% less than the players that win. If a draw between the 3 teams exist, all players will receive the same amount as if they had lost.

Notice that we don’t give specified numbers, as the prizes may vary from the first free week, to those that would be considered final once tickets are up and running.

Battlezone Interface

As you enter the Battlezone, you’ll notice that a special interface shows up in the top of your screen, where the current scores of the teams are shown. If you press it, you’ll get more information, including the names of the characters that belong to each team, as well as their individual scores.

You'll also notice three icons, each one of them representing a mini boss and its status.

Mini Bosses

The mini bosses are 3 special creature that reside in the BZ map, all of them with unique characteristic that once eliminated, they grant a special buff to the team that got the kill. Each of these bosses give the same buff.
If a team is under the effects of this buff and eliminates another boss, their buff will be reloaded in terms of duration.

You can observe the current status of each boss, by noticing the red outline. If the red outline is there, it means that the boss is alive. If it isn't, they may haven't spawned yet.

Reporting other users

Feel free to use our support system, at www.championsofregnum.com/support if you witness some sort of harmful activity during the game, such as, but not exclusively limited to:

Verbal abuse.
AFKing, intentionally desisting to play and follow the match’s objective.
Ragequitting (i.e. a player insults in the chat channels and leaves the game)
Intentional feeding the enemy team.

For now, this should cover any basic doubts you may have. However, the thread will remain open to receive questions and add more info to the guide, including images that would add a little color to the post :)

Thank you!

There might be some error to do with battlezones that is causing alot of disconnections while playing inside.

Get a team composed of 2 conj and 1 lock is a nonsense.
How to hide the pending notification ?
How to manage his team before entering in BZ ? i means if we are 9 players from a same realm, let us to composed our team.
The mini game drain our force . People stay at save and wait their queue

I played 2 matches so far and crashed 2 times inside the battle zone. First crash got me 5 necro and then log in to fall off the alter for another 5 necro. During the 2 or 3 min of gameplay before the first crash, this is what happened:

2 warlock and a barb vs mark, knight, and barb on goat team and 2 barb plus a knight on gelf team. With marks shooting from 50 yard and freeze dizzy at 30 range. Then comes Knights and barbs all charging the locks after a winter stroke. Lock died in less than 10 sec of engagement lmao.

In order to make battleZone more balanced, each team need to consist of 6 players from each class to start with. Not 3vs3vs3 of mixed random class.

3 randam player group fight plus constant crashes out of nowhere makes this battleZone update a complete and utter fail. I would even say that the first battleZone from couple years ago is better than this current bullshit.

That was the issue last time they offered the BattleZones. People stayed at CS waiting for their turn in the queue, and refused to participate in fort wars, to defend the realm against invasion, or anything else but TDM.

While they do have a mechanism now to prevent some of that, it will end up the same; people will participate in war in order to use the Battlezone, but after that they will not participate until they're done with the Battlezone.

I still think Battlezones are a bad idea.

Imo the rewards should be changed a bit. At the moment first gets 1000 2nd/3rd 700

If it was something like 1000/800/600 people might take a bit more risk hoping to get at least 2nd place. Because sometimes one team completely dominates the other 2 so they just give up since both get the same reward anyway.

And in case of a draw it should be 1000/1000/800 or 1000/800/800.

Insane crashes and unbelievable class imbalance between teams ruins the fun of this new battlezone feature. Side with a conju and barb vs side with a lock and hunter with no conju. I mean come on. Ficking retarded game design to have only a 3 man team of random class instead of having 6 player of each class on each side.... Majority of us are not enjoying this battlezone due to crash and class imbalance.

In order to play Battlezones, the first thing you’ll need are Battlezones Tickets, obtainable by achieving certain war objectives. However, Battlezone access will be completely free during the first week after they’ve been launched. Two weeks later, we don´t need tickets to join BZ! The WZ activity at small populated servers (Haven/Valhalla) on BZ-Days (Tuesday, Thursday) is very looooow!
So with that out of the picture, and to be explained once Tickets are added to the game (you can refer to the game version’s changelog for more info on tickets), let’s proceed on how to join a Battlezone game. Can´t find the changelog 1.15 until today!

Sounds a little bit harsh, but "NGD, don´t go the wrong way angain!"

Today´s surprise: Changelog 1.15 (https://www.championsofregnum.com/index.php?l=1&sec=27&opt=1&cl=161)

Version: 1.15 (Date: 2016/5/17)

Description:

- Modified: Battlezone Deathmatch map. Enhanced gameplay and terrain.
- Entrance costs 1 Ticket. Tickets can be earned weekly depending on the performance in war. (First week will cost nothing as an introduction bonus).
- Teams have 4 players. Class restrictions may apply to avoid imbalances.
- Safe zones. Bases can cure allies or damage enemies when near, or within them.
- Mini bosses. Monsters that appear several times during the match. Killing them grants a buff to the team that gave the last hit to it. Must be in Range 10 to harm them.
- Speed boost. When you die, you get a short speed buff to get back to action quickly.
- Saving slot. If for some reason there is a disconnection, the slot in the game is reserved to the disconnected player for 120 seconds. After that time, a new player is prompted.
- Melee range balance. The central part of the map and the paths have a simple design that doesn't allow long distances that could significantly affect melee players in a negative and harsh way.
- Added: War Performance calculation. Earn tickets depending on war activity. This will be calculated weekly. You must comply in 4 of the 7 days of the week the following simple objectives:
First tier (10 tickets):
- Kill one player.
- Play at least 15 minutes.
- Earn at least 30 WMC.
Second tier (20 tickets):
- Kill one player in 4 different forts.
- Play at least 45 minutes.
- Earn at least 90 WMC.
Third tier (40 tickets):
- Earn at least 150 WMC.
- Added: Renaissance clothing and hat. Gifted in Anniversary quest.
- Added: Mounts per gold. One day rent costs 50k gold. One week, 300k gold.
Thanks NGD. Now it´s time to fix Battelzones incl. Battlezone Ticket System!

If that's truly how the ticket system will work, I doubt it'll do much. You can get those 150 WMC in 5 kills/assists at most. That's 5/10 mins of fight at fort.... for 40 TDMs. I haven't even done 40 since it was launched. Even for addicts, that's probably enough for 3-4 days. So they'll still be able to do TDMs constantly, and we'll still have dead WZ.

I hope it'll be revised in the same update champion set bonuses will be.

Also, what's the point of the upcoming ticket system if players getting what they want until it gets implemented?

Battle zones are open for how many weeks now?
I've seen full sets already......
