I don't have a Barb, but take a look here http://www.regnumzg.com.ar/index.php?option=com_rzgtrainer&Itemid=44

balencing passive things like dexterity and hit chance should probably be high on the list case what good is a bowerful single hit attack if it never connects? Abilities like Onslaught are a staple of any Barb's repitwar of abilities as at the higher Lvs the AoE increase in blunt dmg and running speed of your party will bennifit you and those you Lv with, even if there aren't much in the way of blunt dmg spells for mages, the ablity for them to run faster is very useful whe you come up upon a superior force, like if you're a goat or a green and you see Night Twix barreling down upon you it'd be prudent to get the hell out of his way.

Actually Dexterity has nothing with hit chance to do at all, Dexterity is only important to archers since it decides how hard they shoot. :guitar:

A good setup for a barb like you depends on the weapon you are using, if you are using blunt then i suggest you get 15 points in the blunt category, slashing then 15 in that category.. you get the idea. Then get 15 in warcries to get Berserk and Overwhelming strenght. Then 11 on 2 handed mastery to get a lvl 3 Thirst For Blood. At least this is what i would have done if i was in the same level as you.

You can try this trainer: http://www.regnumzg.com.ar/index.php?Itemid=44&class=18&level=33&buscar=
And find combinations yourself. OBS the trainer is not complete, it may not be able to distribute as many skill points as you actually have ingame.

Really? Then why the passive dex boosts for warrio classes such as athletic and versatility? In most games I've played dex played an odd roll as a stat that is partially responcible for hit chance, block chance, evasion chance and the like, each point didn't do much, but you would see a difference in overall ability.

Guess we can't know for sure till they finalize the complete stat listings.

Im 34 Barbarian, Ignis, Edge ingame, heres my setup:

Two-Handed Mastery: 15
-Thirst for Blood 4
-Deafening Roar 4

Piercing Weapons/Blunt Weapons: 15
-Gutting 4
-Balestra 4
-Versatility 4

Warcries: 14 at lvl 33, 15 at lvl 34
-Frenzy 3 for lvl 33, 4 for lvl 34
-Howl 3 for lvl 33, 4 for lvl 34
-Berserk 3 for lvl 33, 4 for lvl 34

I dont know if you use Piercing weaps or Blunt, but you get the setup, also at lvl 33 you can only get 2H Mastery and Piercing/Blunt to 15 and I suggest Warcries at 14, you can get Warcries to 15 at next lvl tho,

My battle style is really just to use Berserk then Thirst for Blood/Gutting combos, the other skills I lvled are for WZ, Frenzy is also good if you want to take more damage which barbarians desperatly need.

Ghost I also agree with Duo, Dexterity plays an important role in battle, thats why I suggest piercing weaps and versatility, versatility is passive for both Strength AND Dexterity.

OK thats all, hope you enjoy my setup, also what realm are you in?

Yeah you are right about evade chance and such, dex helps in defence but it does not make your char hit better.

If you have problem hitting stuff then buy a enhanced or fine steel weapon from a vendor that has extra hit chance.
